The next day, an article was published and it contains the news about Trixx Sawyer and Noel Hamilton’s engagement. Later that day, Trixx went to meet Noel’s parents.

-in the Hamilton Mansion-

“Trixx! I’m glad you are the one marrying my son” Noel’s mother happily said. “Noel, take good care of Trixx or else you will regret it” Noel’s father teased. “Mrs. Hamilton, Mr. Hamilton, thank you for worrying for me”, Trixx thanked. “Call us mom and dad, honey”, Noel’s mother insisted. “Okay mom”, Trixx sighed. “Don’t worry dad, I won’t cheat on her”, Noel said. “Very well”, is dad added.

After eating dinner, Trixx went home and she told Bella that they will conduct a meeting tomorrow.

The next day,

“Good morning everyone, thank you for coming. I believe you already know why I called for a meeting, it’s about the Empire. Hand me over the sales this moth and last month. Mr. Lopez, make a report for this month” Trixx said.

“Understood ma’am”, the manager (Mr. Lopez) said.

“Okay, that’s all for today. Meeting dismissed”.

A few hours later, Ms. Smith (Noel’s Secretary) called and said, “Ms. Sawyer, Mr. Hamilton wants to see you at L Cafe”.

-at the L Cafe-

“Trixx, I’m glad you came. Mother insisted that we should pick your dress and my suit now”, Noel sighed and smiled.

“Seems like she’s more excited than us”, Trixx laughed.

“After a long time, I now saw you laugh and smile again”, Noel said with a concerned tone that seems like Trixx haven’t smiled and laughed for a long time.

After Noel said those words, memories keep coming back to Trixx’s head, the memories that she had forgotten after an accident.

-back when Trixx is still a kid-

“Hey Noel! If I become sad when I grow up, you have to promise me that you will make me laugh”

“Ok I promise”

A few moths later...

“H... help... p... please... help”

Trixx and her grandparents got into a car accident and both of her grandparents died.

before the accident,

“Granny! We’re going to the mall right?”

“Yes honey, we will buy a lot of dolls and candies!”

“Come on now, grandpa is waiting”

“Yay!”

-in the hospital-

“Mrs. Sawyer, Mr. Sawyer, sorry to inform you that both the patients didn’t make it. Sorry for your loss”

“Mommy, daddy? Is granny and grandpa alive? They promised to buy me dolls and candies”

“H... hon, granny and g... grandpa won’t be here anymore, they will be our guardian angel”

“Granny, grandpa I will miss the both of you”

Back in the present,

“Hey! My promise is still valid so I will accomplish it” Noel smirked.

“Thank you Noel, for keeping your promise all this time” Trixx said while wiping her tears away. “Hey, you’re still a crybaby... y’know that?” Noel laughed. “I’m not!”
