Prologue: How we met

In the forest of Avalon lays a small cottage where the elven boy, Kharis Quilar lives.

Kharis's pov.

I was in my room drawing a dream i had the night before. In my dream i

was sitting in a corner of a room, but the room was special. It was

split in half, one side was dark and the other was light.

I was sitting on the

lighter side of the room and i was grateful for that because i

constantly heard screams and whispers from the other side. The only

thing that happened in my dream was me sitting there silently like i was

waiting for something.. or someone?

Before i woke up i was

staring intensely at the other side and i felt like.. It was staring

back at me..after that i woke up and felt shivers down my spine. I was

afraid i would forget such an extraordinary dream so now i'm trying to

draw it from my memory. I wonder if it has a hidden meaning to it...

*sigh*

While

i was drawing an important part of my dream my mom suddenly called out

for me :"Kharis come down and eat, dinner is ready!" i was surprised

when i suddenly heard my mom, thankfully i didn't mess up my drawing. I

carefully folded my drawing and shoved it down my pocket so it's safe

and secure.

I quickly ran down the

stairs and instantly jumped on my seat at the dinner table. "Hey mom..

When will we go on a trip again?" I asked. "Very soon." my mom

answered'. I smiled from excitement but the smile didn't last for long,

suddenly i felt the ground underneath my feet shaking. When i looked at

my mom with a confused face, i said: "Mom i'm scared.."  that's the last

thing i said to her when my vision blackened.

Thessalia's pov.

The

breeze of the wind feels amazing. "Amara come here, you slow poke!" i

yelled. Both of them started giggling. "This is my first time riding a

horse, you promised you'd teach me! I don't see any teaching here."

Amara argued. I smiled at her and fastened my pace. "Try to catch up now

then!" i said while laughing. "DAMN YOU!"Amara yelled furiously.

It was so loud even the

birds could hear it. Obviously i had forgotten that this was Amara's

first ride and quickened my pace even more, then i realized i had lost

her. She's probably still in the plains and has returned home *sigh*

good thing she isn't lost like me. I jumped off my horse and continued

to explore while walking.

I was somewhere in a

forest. It was beautiful and very overgrown, i couldn't stop myself from

being amazed by everything. I have surely let out a whole lot of gasps

here and there, its so different from Natalos! Natalos is the elven

kingdom where i was born, ofcourse there are a lot of elven kingdoms out

there but Natalos is the biggest! I chuckled.

While i was walking, i

suddenly saw a human like frame in the distant and heard a lot of

yelling. "What are they saying?" i wondered. They were getting closer

and closer and when they were at their closest i could hear them scream

"RUN RUN!! THEY'RE GETTING CLOSER!" when i turned around to run...

-BOINK!!!

Kharis's pov.

When

i finally woke up after i blacked out, i was somewhere in a forest. I

didn't understand?! What happened back home..? Then i realized

something. "MOM! MOM!" i yelled while crying. She wasn't with me.. Where

could she be? What happened? How am i here? So many questions i

couldn't answer..

The night was near and i

was alone in a forest unknown to me. I started walking to find a safe

place where i could rest. After some time i found a small cave where i

could shelter from the rain. "Why am i so unlucky?" i sighed. I tried to

make myself comfortable next to a rock and i slowly fell asleep.

*rustling*

Suddenly i

woke up after i heard something rustling. "Who is there?!" i yelled. It

looks like it's around 3:00 pm, i was laying beside a rock and heard

rustling noises from the bushes around me. Suddenly a wild wolf jumped

out of the bush and landed infront of me. I sat there Shivering in

fear."Am i going to die??! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIEEE!"

I wanted to cry and shit

my pants but that wouldn't help my situation at all. I grabbed a close

by stick and smacked the wolfs head. The wolf looked at me dumbfounded

and probably thought that was dumb AS ****. It probably was because the

wolf suddenly growled at me."EEK!" i screamed. I grabbed some sand and

throwed it in the wolfs eyes. While the wolf was distracted i took this

chance to escape.

I was running like there

was NO tomorrow. Obviously the wolf caught up to me in a short period

of time."DAMN YOU MY WEAK STAMINA!" i cursed. While running i saw

someone in the distance and i screamed:"RUN!"

I guessed that the

person couldn't hear me because they just stood there confused. I kept

on screaming that they should run but they only heard me when i was at

their closest. I saw that person turning around to run but slammed into

a tree instead.. Ouch

The wolf was still

behind me but i couldn't leave that person alone there. I spotted a

horse next to them. "Thank you GOD, finally some good LuCk!!" i started

fastening my pace and the gap from the wolf became larger. I quickly put

the girl on the horse and started riding till the wolf was nowhere to

be seen.

I sighed from relief. I

can't believe it. I survived? FROM A WILD WOLF? I started to jump

excitedly around the place till i suddenly heard the girl move."oh

right..i forgot about her." i carried her to a tree so she could lean on

it and started a fire to keep us warm.

At first i was deep in

thought thinking about what happened to my mother. Did she die? No that

can't be.. I won't believe it!.. She wasn't my real mother but she cared

and raised me like i was her own. She was there as long as i can

remember, but thinking that she's gone made my heart throb. I felt like i

knew she was gone but i didn't want to believe it. When i almost

started crying the girl suddenly woke up.

I stared at her in awe,

she was actually really pretty but besides that she has the same elf

ears like me! When she sat up i suddenly jumped in front of her face

making her blush."Are you also an elf?" i asked curiously. She nodded

shyly."Anyways who are you?" the girl asked."I'm Kharis Quillar!" i said

very proudly even though i didn't do anything to be so prideful of. She

giggled."well i'm Thessalia Rave, nice to neet you!"
