One freezy Friday night at Ontario,Canada while surfing the internet, Sarah got bored and tried a trending online dating site. The server connected to a stranger as she started to type a message. The two greeted each other and asked each other’s names. The guy named Mark. Sarah frowned as she heard his name because it was similar to her crush’s name but she ignores it and continued talking with the stranger. They talked about lots of things and Sarah got amazed with Mark’s sense of humor. They have some things in common and Sarah thinks she found the guy version of herself. It’s been months since they met each other online,still not knowing who they really are. However, there are no place for awkwardness in every conversations they make and spend each and everytime talking with each other. As long as they message each other, they didn’t noticed that thry are slowly falling for each other on the internet. Sarah feels happy everytime they talk with each other and she feels really comfortable with that. One morning, it’s already Monday and it’s already time for school. Sarah leaves a message to Mark as she fixed herself and gets ready to go to school. As she passed the school gate, Sarah stopped for a while as she saw her crush Mark then suddenly thinks about her chat mate Mark. She shook her head as she realized that their personality was really far because her chat mate has a sense of humor while her crush is a serious type of guy who always seems emotionless but yet still handsome. She realized that she’s already starring at him as he took a glance to her and she immediately looked away then continued walking through her classroom. Mark is also her classmate so what happened earlier was really awkward.

It was lunch time at the cafeteria and Sarah was already finished eating as she opened her phone and received a message from Mark, her chat mate. She greeted him and Mark quickly replied to her. He cracked a joke that made Sarah keep smiling. Her best friend noticed her smiling so she ask her why. Sarah lied about having a chat mate and said it’s because of a memes that she saw from the social media. Her friend just ignore her actions but still confused. Sarah noticed her crush Mark glancing at her but looked away and pretend not looking as he look at his phone. She just ignored it and just pays attention with chatting. Sarah continued what she’s doing. After a couple minutes Sarah felt something terrible in her tummy and rushed to the comfort room. She’s in a hurry and didn’t noticed that her phone fell as she makes her way to the comfort room. After a moment, the horrible call of nature saga ended as she made her way out and tried to get her phone from her pocket she noticed it’s gone. She rushed to the cafeteria to look for her phone. No one’s left in the cafeteria so she continued searching and didn’t noticed Mark standing behind her. She froze in a moment as she looked at Mark giving back her phone. She quickly snatch her phone in shock, thanked Mark for giving her phone back and ran away.

Three o’clock then the bell ring signs that it’s already time to go home. As Sarah walks and makes her way home, she opened her phone and a message popped on her screen. It’s from an unknown number. She stopped for a while to read it and her jaw drops as she read the message. It is Mark, her crush and said he wants to see her because they need to talk. She panicked as she think what to reply. She got nervous knowing that her crush wants to see her. She responded Mark’s message and see him. As she walks through where Mark is, she pretends to be emotionless, hiding her happiness to see him. She asked Mark why did he wants to see her. He didn’t answer and what he did next was unexpected. He hugged Sarah as if they were know each other well and speak. “ I didn’t expected that you’ve around me all the time and I didn’t noticed it.” He said with is soft voice. Still froze, Sarah was confused of what’s happening, not saying anything she pulled back from Mark’s hug and asked him what is he talking about. Mark just smiled and gave Sarah his phone. With confusion she asked him, “why are you giving me your phone Mark?”. “Read its messages.” He ordered. Sarah just obeyed what he said. She froze as she read the familiar conversations from his phone and looked at Mark. “So... you are...” Mark nods slowly even though she’s not yet finished speaking. Another silence filled the area, Sarah seems speechless knowing that her crush is her chat mate. She breaks silence and ask him, “how did you know it’s me?” Marks laughs a bit and said “you’ve been the one carelessly dropped your phone in front of me. I picked it and luckily it has no password but I didn’t meant to read the conversation s on it which is similar to mine.” “ I’m in a rush so I didn’t noticed I dropped my phone.” Sarah replied. Mark moved forward to her and hugged her again saying “You didn’t know how happy I am that I finally meet my Internet love Sarah and at the same time knowing it’s my crush all the time.” Sarah was shocked on what ahe heard. “He has a a crush on me?” She said in her mind as she happily hugged her crush back.
