He leaned against the door as his hands roam everywhere till his fingers touched the door knob and locked it. He looked at his right and left rapidly, his breathing hadn't shown any sign to slow down, his heart was beating so fast as if he had run a marathon- wait, maybe he did....

...A sudden sound of heavy footstep echoed throughout the silent night. He was alone at home but, he knew he wasn't at all the.The footsteps came from outside, it was getting closer to his door as his clock on the wall ticking nonstop. Sweat was forming on his forehead, in that chilling night, he was sweating so hard. His ears focused on the footsteps from outside, the person was just beside the door. Or was it a person?...

...He prayed over and over in his mind, squeezing his eyes tightly as he knew he was going to die anytime soon. The footsteps came to stop, he also stopped breathing for a moment. He slowly opened his eyes to focus on his hearing again, maybe he could not hear anything because he was busy praying. But it was confirmed, no more foot step from outside. He focused his eyes on the wall in front of him afraid to move but also afraid to stay....

...Just as he stepped forward from the the door, the door was slammed by someone rapidly. He gasped and fell on the door, his eyes went huge as he stared at the door. Slowly, he moved backward using his hands and legs. His legs has no strength to stand up. Before his back hit the wall behind him, the sound stopped. No one slammed the door anymore. No footsteps too, the person must be standing outside....

...He didn't know what to do. He had no idea. His mind went blank. He couldn't make a noise. He kept moving backwards till he hit the wall. He stopped, but his right hand touched something foreign; like a foot. His blood crept up to his face, he closed his eyes tightly as he sucked on his breath. Then he opened his eyes again, and slowly looked behind him while lifting his head up- and there stood the same man, with red bloody eyes and blood stained from the corner of his lips to his chin....

...Just as the man smirked down at him, he collapsed on the floor......
