disoriented

Elizabeth recoiled and fell to the ground being both frightened and astonished.

-The king of writers. she muttered.

-What did you say? I didn't hear.

-No, you didn't. So you really are from another world.

-Yeah.

-Then follow me. I'll take you to the elven realm and perhaps grant you an audience with the elf king of the cup realm.

-Thank you.

These two young characters left and arrived at the kingdom after an hour's walk.

-Welcome to the kingdom of the elves! Elizabeth exclaimed. Here you will find everything you need.

-Thanks again for helping me.

-No problem. Elizabeth said with a smile. Oh, I almost forgot to ask you.

-Ask what?

Elizabeth approached him and looked him in the eye with the utmost seriousness and asked: Alex, how far have you come?

He looked at her with a raised eyebrow and a little sideways laugh.

-What are you talking about? He said ignorantly.

-Levels are a way to know your current strength in this world. Are there no levels in your other world?

-No. How many levels does it have?

-Ten. The level of earth, ground, air, clouds, celestial, sun, moon, lords, divines and gods.

-How am I supposed to know what level I am on?

-Through magical artifacts that only the three great kingdoms of the greatest empire have: crystals.

-Crystals?

-These crystals have exactly ten levels inside them. One floor equals one level. Our weapons are allowed. Then we'll buy you a weapon.

-Okay.

When they arrived in a place crowded with people and merchants selling equipment such as armor, weapons and magical items, Elizabeth began to offer Alex lots of weapons. But as Alexander had said, he comes from another world. A world where this environment is from the past. This made him feel uncomfortable not to belong. But the moment the elf accompanying him showed him a blue sword a familiar feeling came over him. He assumed it was the marks engraved on it.

At the same time the pen began to flicker as if in the forest. A kind of instinct arose as if he had to have it.

-How much do you want for this sword!

-A silver coin.

Alex pulled out a quarter from his pocket.

-Are you kidding me? the old merchant man snarled.

Elizabeth interjected and paid the silver coin and left with Alex.

-What did you try to give that merchant?

-At my house the only silver coins are very small amounts of money like the coin from earlier.

-I thought you already understood. You're not home anymore. Elizabeth said, slightly annoyed.

-I'm sorry.

She looked at him with her lost and intimidated look. She then decided to let it go.

-It doesn't matter. Tell me what was different about this sword than the ones I offered you.

-Nothing very special. My pen was glowing so I took it.

Elizabeth didn't know why, but she was suspicious of the pen.

-I see. Anyway, here we go. We'll see your level and go to the capital. Direction: the level crystals.
