"Starting today, We are already engaged. We'll have our wedding once you reach the legal age. And about our honeymoon, we'll talk about that when you're in the right age... maybe 2 years from now."

"As for the rules.

**Rule number one\, you will follow everything your husband asks of you. **

Rule number two, you're not allowed to go out without my consent or without bodyguards. If you will go out, go with me or with your bodyguards. I kniw that you are notorious for escaping but I hope you will just stay at home and wait for my return.

Takumi Tomaru. He's originally from the Fukuzawa household but after his mother died, his father married another woman. His parents never got married, she was just a woman his father had an affair with. Even after she bore his child.

"Then are you planning to turn me into your slave and shut me in the mansion forever? What kind of life would I have?! And what do you mean 2 years from now? I will only be 15 years old by then! We won't even be married and you wanted us to discuss about the honeymoon?! I haven't agreed to be your wife in the first place!"

I shouted angrily at him.

"Then is 5 years from now okay to you? Seriously, do you want me to die out of my unsatisfied desires?"

Is he serious? I said a lot of things and he only focused on the honeymoon thing?

"NO!"

Then I walked out.

"He's crazy! I will never marry that crazy guy! Just what will happen to me if I decided to marry him? He will be like the evil witch mother and I will be the trapped princess!"

"Damn! Will I ever get out of this mess?"

Takumi has been staying at our mansion for how many weeks now.

Well, he said that he will not be leaving until I agree in marrying him. Does he really have that much free time to loaf around here?

I'm so disgusted seeing his face everyday! Wait, no not his handsome face...

I'm so disgusted by his attitude! And he is just so annoying! All he ever did was look at me from afar and whenever our eyes would have contact he would suddenly smirk at me. So creepy!

And he's the man. reason why my urge to escape the mansion has heightened. I'd rathe live with the monkeys in the jungle than to be with him in that mansion!

I sighed.

I was bursting out all of my problems while I'm in the park near the market.

And yes, I escaped again.

When someone approached me.

"Are you okay?" she said.

It was a girl in her summer dress. And she seems to be around my age. She was looking at me and she smiled.

"I'm fine, w-who are you?"

I was stunned. It was the first time that someone has approached and talked to me at the park.

"I'm Tabitha, how about you? What's your name?" she asked.

Based on her looks, she's just an average girl. Maybe she's from the town nearby.

"Hi, I'm Mitsuki."

Then Tabitha went to sit down beside me. And she held my hand.

"You're so pretty! Even your dress is very pretty!"

She said with amazement in her eyes and she looked at me from head to toe.

"Uhmm thanks." I replied timidly.

"Would you like to be my friend?"

Friend? This is the first time that someone asked that to me. I didn't have anyone to that. Everyone in that big mansion were adults who are very serious with their jobs. If there is someone close to me, that would be just my dad. But he's out of question.

"Yes!" I said with enthusiasm.

I even nodded my head with much happiness in Tabitha's offer. If I was alone I would have jumped up and down with glee. As I agreed, she went to hug me.

"Yay! I will go here at the park everyday so I can see you okay? By the way, where do you live?"

"Okay! I live there on the first gated house that you'll see along the highway."

I said as I pointed the direction towards our mansion.

"Really? That's your house? I've always wanted to see the inside of that palace! Can you bring me there sometime?"

"Yes, of course!"

Wait, oh no! The monster might see her!

True to her words, Tabitha really went to the park everyday and we hanged out all day long. She also toured me in the nearby town where she lives.

I never told anyone about Tabitha. It's not like anyone would care.

Until..

"Mitsuki, when are you going to bring me to your palace?" she asked pouting.

"Uhmm.. you know, it's really dirty in our house right now."

I tried to make an excuse as I didn't want her to be seen by that monster.

"Huh? Didn't you have maids around? Why would it be dirty?"

But she's so hard to convince. What else can I do? I decided to bring her and let her meet my mom.

But..

"Wow! This palace is so huge! And there are a lot of expensive and beautiful things!"

"What an ignorant girl."

An irritated voice came from upstairs. Well, who else would it be? It's the monster himself!

I just glared atheism and held Tabitha's hand.

"She's not like that!"

But he ignored me and turned towards Tabitha.

"Hey kid."

Just by that Tabitha started to tremble.

But suddenly, Tabitha's phone started ringing.

"Excuse me, I'll just answer this." she said as she moved a little further.

When she came back, I noticed her hands were shaking and she looked troubled.

"Kid, I'm sorry to tell you but I don't want to see you hanging out with Mitsuki ever again."

"What the hell are you saying, you idiot! She's my friend!"

"Friend? Didn't I told you that you shouldn't talk to strangers moreover be friends with them?"

His voice boomed across the hallway and sounded so dangerous.

"D-do you think I'm s-scared of you?!"

He smirked.

"You may not be, but your friend's already is."

What does he mean?

Then I looked at Tabitha to see her trembling in fear.

"W-what did you do to her?"

"Mitsuki.." Tabitha said in her softest voice.

"Don't you worry! I'll protect you from him."

Right, she's the only one that's left to me and I will not let anything to happen to her.

But she let go of my hand...

"Mitsuki, I have to go home!" she said as she dashed towards the front door.

"Tabitha!"

I was supposed to chase her but Takumi held my arm tightly.

"I threatened her."

"Seems like her father is an employee in one of Tomaru Empire's affiliates. But don't get me wrong, I didn't told her to leave you."

He went near me and leaned towards my left ear.

"I only told her that once she showed her face to me, I might consider firing her dad. Funny right? I just said I might consider, I never said that I'll do it."

He smirked.

I slapped Takumi for that and his irritating smirk faded.

"I've been monitoring all of your movements, from the mansion up to that dirty little market playground of yours. And everything I saw that I didn't like. I made sure that I got rid of them."

He said in a such intimidating aura.

I was late..

"Why are you doing this to me?!"

My voice was so loud I think everyone in the mansion has heard me. Even the maids came but they were ordered to leave by Takumi.

"Why, you asked?"

"This is all for your sake, my damsel in distress."

He whispered in my ear while looking down on me. He was about to caress my face when I fended off his hand.

"I swear! I will never marry you 'till the day I die!"
