Prologue

"Are you sure you want to go out right now? At this time. It's 3 in the morning." Cassie groaned. I laughed at her and nodded a 'yes'. I woke her up in the middle of night and dragged her outside our so called girls night. She was still in her pyjamas and was complaining non-stop about dragging her out this late at night.

"**** you rose. Who eats ice cream at middle of the night." I giggled at her and slid my hads under my warm pockets of jacket and took slow and steady steps. Winter here sucks, it's so cold outside but my period cravings won't let me sit still. I have cravings of pregnant woman but i am just on my periods.

"You always sleep 24/7 everyday and now you still want to sleep. You lazy bitch" I rolled my eyes as she smacked my arm in annoyance.

Cassie is my best friend since, high school, not once did we the both of us fight, she is talkative and one of the baddest bitch during our school and still in high school. Her tall figure and blue doe eyes with piercings on her lips and ears she looks stunning. Her hip length red hair which is wavy and gorgeous is enough to attract newbies and bad boys. She lost her innocence when she was in 9 th grade. The girl didn't bother to tell me until i saw her limping next morning.

"If this beauty of mine gets ruined, then you are the blame." She huffed gesturing to her face. I patted her cheek and laughed as she cursed not so colorful words under her breath.

"Yeah, yeah whatever." I giggled.

The bell dinged as we arrived inside the ice cream parlour. The parlour is open every day 24/7 so there's no need to worry about not getting your craving. Jack is one of the employee working during nightshifts. He is friendly and cheerful always makes sure to not disappoint the customer. He is younger than us studying freshmen year and at same time doing part time job. We always tip him and always pay extra after our orders, he deserves it for his hardworking.

"Hi rose and cassie. What's your order today?" He smiled greeting us as we sat in one of the red colored table.

"The usual." I yelled enough for him to hear and he just nodded. I ruffled my raven hair and looked around the restaurant until our orders arrive. Even tough i have visited it many times, i will be still left in awe at the design of this small parlour.

It's cute and gorgeous.

"Looks like the girl isn't here on her will!" He snorted gesturing to cassie. I laughed nodding my head as he placed orders with his infamous bunny smile. Cassie rolled her eyes "Yeah, getting dragged by a weird human who gets cravings in middle of the night, is so damn much adventurous. isn't it?" We laughed at her complain and she shook her head in disbelief.

My cravings are satisfied as soon as we stepped outside the parlour and proceeded to walk back to home. Cassie was tall enough take long strides to slump on her bed and have a never ending sleep. She walked infront of me with eyes half closed.

I chuckled at her and tried to catch up with her strides. Alley next to our path was dark and threatening and i dreaded to even look at it. I walked almost running to get away from the place.

"Rose" A dark and deep voice whispered. I stopped on my tracks and looked over at the alley. My inner self asked me to run but something in me wasn't letting me move. I was stuck in one place without knowing what to do. Something was calling out for me again and again and i felt attracted to the voice.

"Rose"

"Rose macbeth"

The voice growled and i came back to my senses. My eyes widen and i attempted to run but a large, rough hand came out of nowhere and stopped me from escaping as a thin and long needle made it way to my neck deeper until the liquid made my body limp and i fell unconscious. The only thing i remember is getting picked up by a stranger and then...

Darkness, swallowed me...
