Matthew and Amanda's Past !

Emma snapped her fingers in front of Clair's eyes and said, "Hello Miss let's not daydream and let me show you your room"

Emma and Clair walked to a room. It was simple but it was cozy too. She could feel the cold breeze inside the room. Clair flopped on the bed and said, "This room is so good.." Clair said.

Emma sat on the bed and said, "Yes, of course It used to be mine. But I had to move to another room. Because I made this room very messy most of the time."

Clair chuckled and said, "Emma, Do you think I am good at Art?" Emma's eyes sparkled and she said, "If you think you are not good at art then draw me"

Both of them laughed and Clair said, "I want to be an artist but I am not sure.... what if I am not good enough" Emma patted Clair's back and said, " Don't think so much. You are already good, You don't need anything itself you are already an artist"

Clair smiled and hugged Emma. She felt a sense of relief when she hugged her. "I just hope I don't end up alone all again...."

In San Diego,

Mathew entered his house and said, "I am home". Matthew's mother walked out of the kitchen and said, "Why are you so late today?". Matthew sighed and said, "I passed 11th today ,mom. I went to play at the game club."

"Well then what is your rank?" His mom asked. Mathew kept a paper on the dinning table and said, "I hope you are satisfied...". His mom grabbed the paper and said, "Did you..."

She saw he was at 1st position. "Then I consider you to be in River Valley High school now" His mom said. Matthew kept his bag on this study desk and flopped on the bed. "I want a break..." Matthew said and pulled out his phone.

He scrolled through Amanda's Social media profile.

"How can someone be so perfect" He said and smiled. "If I had a little courage that day...."

A Years ago ~

Matthew and Amanda were best friends. At that time They were in 10th grade. Matthew had a crush on Amanda and everyone in the school except Amanda knew it. She was very friendly with Matthew.

On Matthew's Birthday, He decided to confess to Amanda. He had called her to the school rooftop that day. He had prepared everything. There was balloons, Candles and it was very mesmerising.

But Amanda never showed up that day. She didn't come. It rained heavily that day but still in a hope that she would come any time. He waited there for a very long time.

He was soaking with water. Everything was ruined. The next day she didn't come to school. Everyone in the school started making rumors that because Matthew confessed to Amanda and she didn't like him. She transfered schools.

Matthew distanced himself from everyone and didn't trust anyone from then. He never talked to anyone and was silent in school for most of the time.

Present Time ~

"Matthew, Come down. Dinner is ready" His mom said. Matthew kept his phone on his desk and walked down the stairs. He sat on the dinning table and saw his father entering the house.

"I heard that today the rankings were released" His father said and sat beside him. "Yes Dad..." Matthew said in a low voice. "He is first among all the students" His mom said from the kitchen.

A warm smile appeared on his dad's face and he said, "I knew you would make me proud" and he patted on his back. "I want you to do the same in 12th grade" Matthew nodded his head and ate his dinner.

Suddenly the door bell rang. "I will check it" Matthew said and walked towards the door. He opened the door. "Hi buddy, Long time no see" Amanda said.
