Epilogue

It was in the middle of the night, the streets were covered with Christmas decorations, the snows piled on the roofs of the buildings, it was a cold and breezy night. A big Christmas tree in the middle of the street shines bright the night. Near that tree, there's a bench and a man who was sitting on it. A skinny man with pale brownish skin was wearing a suit as if he has just got back from his office, with a messy tie and uncombed hair. Feeling the cold breeze of the night, the man looks at the Christmas tree and recalling his memories.

The man starts seeing a young couple that looks at their late teen facing each other in a lonely and quiet coffee shop. Both of the youngsters were still wearing their school uniforms neatly. The boy reminds of the man's self when he was younger, as the girl stood up from her chair and muttered a single sentence, "Let's Break Up", which made the boy heartbroken. From that day his school life was getting worse and worse due to his low self-esteem especially in front of the girl.

Back to the present time, the man laughed at himself, for being too immature when he was young. He looks at the Christmas tree and wishes that he could turn back time to fix his past mistakes. Looking up at the sky like a lost lamb, a shiny star dropped from the sky towards his direction. The man was not surprised, as he had on his mind," Is This How My Life's End?". As he opens his eye, his sight was plain white, he can't see anything else other than himself. He closes his eyes with the feeling of nearing the death's door. However, he notices the faint voices of a couple of teenagers echo the room.

After opening his eyes, he sees himself along with his classmates having a small feast celebrating sometime like a reunion? no, he feels familiar with the place. He looks down and saw his small skinny young teenage body as if he was back in his young days. The boy quickly checks his pockets to find his phone and check the date that day. He then realized that he was 10 years back in the past. He looks at his surroundings, few faces he recognizes around his age when he was young. The party was held right after ending their high school years. The boy recalls that it was a peaceful year during their high school years and it was destroyed as soon as he entered college. His girlfriend from high school broke up with him, his best friend had some trouble and his only family have health problems. "In this life, I will make sure to save them all", and he muttered to himself "and myself". The boy excuses himself and went home with a cab. As he passes a huge Christmas tree and thought to himself, "thank you".
