Prologue

Do you know the feeling of being alone in the world? Having no one, not even your parents, in times of crisis?  A neglecting father, a stepmother, and two stepsiblings who always bully and put you to shame whenever they get the chance. And the ones you thought were your friends to be by your side and comfort you turned out to be snakes that only sought after the value of your status. Having problems piling up one by one giving you no time to rest, not even to breathe.

     If you know someone who went through something similar to this, then you're going to hear that kind of story again. A story about a person. A woman.  Who went through many troubles in her life alone.  Athania  Donnatelio Tonnelier, eldest daughter of the Tonnelier duchy. A devoted fool to her family and husband, the crown prince, she decided to give it her all to support the crown prince. She began studying economics, science, etiquette, and others more just to be acknowledged by her fiancee. But all her efforts went down the drain as her stepmother and step-siblings, later on, frames her in poisoning the crown prince, which made her end up in the dungeon beneath the castle.

     For her punishment, she was hit with all sorts of weapons 100 times for 100 days with only a piece of hard bread as her daily meal before her execution. Though she is held beneath the castle, her cell was still above ground that she could see a little of the sky, and every night while looking up to the night sky, she started to sing with a pained, saddened face, but every time she couldn't finish the song due to her weak physique. Day and night, the same events happen to the poor girl until the night of the 99th day, the day before her execution, Athania with her weak body, couldn't stand the pain anymore, thus collapsing facing the ceiling of her cell, then she looked at the space she looked at every night. The silver moon's light shined and was now hitting Nia's face. At that moment, Athania eyes were starting to tear up, and a lump in her throat could be felt. "Today is my last day, huh?" she said. Finally, she bursts into tears, wailing for hours and hours until she had exhausted her voice. "Somehow, the moon always calms me, but now I can't handle the pain anymore."  she cried. "I hope... I could be happy too, just like how they are happy." she said in a low voice.  Nia's eyes were feeling heavy but before she closed her eyes she still stared into the moon.  Drawing her last breath her last tear also fell from her eyes, and as it dropped out of her face, a sound of a droplet falling into a water's surface could be heard.  Before she knew it, she was in another body!
