Chapter 1

"We arrived at Seoul, South Korea. We will be landing at Incheon International Airport so please fast on

your belts."

The flight attendant announced. Korea. A country with either good or bad side; A country on which John Kim

choose to leave and abandon for almost 10 years.

"July 26, 2025- Saturday- 11:02 pm" he said as he read what is written on his phone. 10 years, he thought, he missed his country, the place on which he first met those person who he cherish a lot, those person on which he chooses to leave but after 10 years of dreaming on his own, he decided to wake up and go back on where he used to be.

"We arrived at our destination."

"Son, are you sure you want to stay there for a while?" Mr. Kim, John's Father asked through the phone.

"Dad, I'm sure. Besides, this is a business trip, 2 months will do. And you know that I wanted to see Ronnie,

Max, Harry, Jino, James and... And Taeha (pronunciation: Te-i-ya). I.. I-"

"Son, i know... How about, try to explore Seoul for a while, maybe by exploring the whole city, you can see

them hm? Just.. Just be careful. I have to go, see you soon." Said his dad and ended the call. John looked at the sky and inhaled deeply, maybe exploring the city can make him feel at home, at least.

"Ok! The next song request is 'Save me' by BTS! I guess every ARMY is excited so,Stay tune on I heart

Radio"

He stepped at the gas pedal and started to drive along the Seoul's' street. 4 pm in the afternoon, some college students and walking and passing by. As soon as the street light turned red, he pressed the break peddle and waited until it turns green. He observed all the students who are walking by: some are chit-chattering, some are laughing and some are silently walking, which really caught John's attention. The guy walk until he

reached the pedestrian lane and looked at him.

"James?"

When he spoke the name, everything went into dashing light. Only he and James are visible. The car he was sitting at dissipated "James!" He called, desperately. As soon as he reaches James hand, James fell into deep ocean, not water but fire.

"John Hyung.. Help me!."

he can't do anything; he can't move his own body. It feels like he was wrapped into a rope with a person holding the end.

"Save me... hyung.."

"James!" He woke up, from a dream. A dream=like a reality. A dream that caused his heart to ache; a dream

that make him drown into tears as soon as he woke up.

"It’s just a dream John, a dream." He said and calms himself. He picked his phone and looked at the

time. 3:50, he stand up from the bed, get his keys and drive his way to the nearest convenience store.

"James?"

The guy blink twice; eyes widen with  mouth hanging upside down. "Ah! James Jung! Let’s go!" the other guy said from the left side of the pedestrian. "Yeah." James said. He looked at John with cold stare and leaves him without saying a word. John just inhaled deeply and drives his way to the convenience store.

As soon as he arrived, one of the crew in the store looked familiar, it’s Ronnie. Because of his guilt, leaving

him when he was feeling down, he just ignores it and didn't continue buying inside. It’s his guilt. No goodbye and see you soon, he left Korea with no word. And his friends didn't know it from the first place. That’s why guilt is

building up and eating him alive.
