Chapter - 1

Today was a very tiring day. I also had to do overtime which made me late to go home. At this time no taxis were available so I had to walk. I was walking on the road on my way back when I thought of buying some pastries.

"If any shops were still open, I'll buy it", I thought. As I looked here and there for a shop, I realized I lost my track. I could not recognise a single thing in my surroundings. I was too stressed out to think where I am going. I must have taken a wrong road. I tried to look around for some signs on the road but all I could see was darkness and could smell mild smell of cigarettes.

I saw a nearby shop which looked pretty decent from the outside. I looked up at its name, "the bunny bean".

"It must be a cute cafe with cozy atmosphere, at least that's what the name suggests, this is exactly what I want right now!", I thought. Though it's name was all cute, it didn't pass the vibe check. This café was in middle of nowhere. I don't think so lots of people visited here or even know if it existed. "It's no way cute or cozy", I sighed. The road was all lonely. It's not like there were no people at all, there were, but it was giving a very weird aura which made me nervous. "The best option is to go inside, I might find people inside", I told myself.

I walked to the door of the shop and gave it a push. As the door opened, I walked in. As I was walking inside, I could sense two men, looking all dressed up nicely in suits, staring at me. They might be dressed up, but they had scars on their faces like they've been into a bad fight. But hey, I'm not judging!

They had their sharp eyes at me like I entered their property. Well I can't blame them as I looked like a homeless woman right now. "Maybe this place is famous for rich businessmen. it's fine", I thought "I'll just get some pastries and run outta here."

I found the pastries section and selected one for myself. It was kind of expensive but I feel like I deserved it today. As it was being packed, I thought of looking around the café. It looked really neat and clean from the inside. I could sense its for some rich people and not for a broke girl like me. It was some fancy café with black as the theme but it was quite bright. It doesn't appear anything like i thought it should from outside.

While i was exploring the café, my focus went to a big design on the wall.

"whoa!", I exclaimed. It was a dragon made up of shiny golden colour.

"wait! I've seen this design before." I tried recalling it. "where have I seen it?"

Meanwhile the shopkeeper called me to collect my order. As I was walking back to take the pastry, I froze in between my way.

I recalled I saw it on the news. "W-W-WAIT! IS THIS PLACE OWNED BY A MAFIA?".
