Y/n is laying on the medical bed inside the isolation cage for over an hour now, she is still agonizing from her wound on her right lower rib.

She is restrained by the metal handcuffs on her left hand and a restrain straps on her feet.

"hello? Can anyone lend me a tools? Gonna do some stitches for my lacerations"

No one answer Y/n from her call

"ugh! Fcck luck!"

Y/n try to free herself from all the straps and cuffs but luck is indeed not into Y/n. She was about to pull the handcuff on her left hand, when her wound strike a sharp pain again giving her a reason to groan in agony for the second time around.

She stops groaning when a low tone voice speaks to her

"stop struggling it's no use"

She looks at the person whom speaking to her

"Hoseok, I'm a surgeon don't worry. we will not let you die in here"

Y/n stares at Hoseok for about a minute before someone open the door of the isolation cage

She's the woman who Jin and Jungkook handed me into

"I'm Yoonji, scientist"

Y/n nod her head slowly before speaking. She's not afraid from the infected people rather she is more than afraid to humans. For her, humans are all alien and greedy.

"Y/n, can I ask where is Jungkook and Jin?"

The two doctors did not answer Y/n's question instead they continue to arrange the tools and apparatus for the surgery. Y/n sigh and just stay quiet, she thinks maybe it is better to stay quiet than to push all the button of their shits.

Then the silence take over the tinted glass cage. No one is talking, only the crackling of the medical drugs and tools can be heard all over the flat.

The silence was broke when someone knock on the door. As Y/n can't move her body she let her eyes roam the glass cage and observe the place quietly

Y/n heard the glass sliding door open showing a pair of men holding a couple of supplies for the surgery, they are young just around her age. Then Y/n beam a little when Jungkook peek inside the cage

Jungkook showed his bunny smile to Y/n. which made Y/n to smile back. The other men wave their hands towards Y/n the moment they hand over the supplies to Yoonji

"Kids go back to you own post"

Yoonji said to the three young men. They all give Yoonji a sparkling eyes. Y/n made a soft chuckle, she thinks that the three men are like a bear cub, a little chick and a baby rabbit

"boys go back to your posts now or I let Yoongi hyung inform about his broken coffee maker"

After Hoseok said it. the three of them run as fast as they can. Then Y/n heard Yoonji talk to Hoseok

"never gets old"

Yoonji then walk towards Y/n's bed and put all the needed things for her stitches

"Y/n, this might be hurt because the storage are out of anesthesia not even a pill to let you atleast sleep even it doesn't help. Just bear with it okay?"

Yoonji asked with all the concerned look towards Y/n. She then look to Hoseok who is also look so worried due to doing a surgery without any suppressants

"i think so. Better than letting my wounds open and die ugly haha'"

Y/n assured the two doctors beside her. Y/n thinks that it is good to have felt the pain of all the needles and thread peircing onto her flesh than being exposed to the major contamination of the virus.

Jin open then the door to his room. He immediately throw himself onto his bed and groan in tiredness.

"Jin hyung"

Without taking a look Jin answer the person

"let me sleep for now Yoons. Let my handsome face have its rest"

Yoongi nods and leave Jin to his slumber. But not a long rest Jin woken by the loud crash. He groan in restlessness

Jin closes his eyes for a couple of minutes again before getting up to check where the loud crash came from, as Jin walking along the corridor half-asleep he smelled an awful scent of rotten flesh

Cursing to his self he already knew why there's a loud crashing sound earlier. Realising it, he run fast towards to the cage. A cage pit for the infected people.

Jin and his group was picking up a potential infected for the research of the cure. that is why from time to time he and the gang risks their lives to went to the main city to atleast retrieve some good test samples for the cure.

"negative?"

He said while he's zipping up his jacket. He walked towards Hoseok and Yoonjin whom holding a blood bags. Labelled for test from the infected

"she's fine. The surgery last half an hour but she's still inside the isolation cage"

Yoonji informing Jin about Y/n's situation. Jin nodded and check the papers for the current results of the test samples. Sitting in the swivel chair near to Hoseok.

"she doesn't have a bite, zero blood contamination and highly activated immunisation from the virus"

It made Jin think that Y/n is no ordinary person. She's one of them.

"we're still not so sure about that hyung, according to the latest study of the government. It takes atleast 5 days before the virus will be visible to the blood"

Joonie said and hand over the tablet to Jin with the latest update from the government research laboratory news.

"Purple! Vante! And Chim!"

Jin called out the three youngsters. Who are rushing inside the laboratory. Sitting side by side on the small three sitter couch.

"you three will do the trap with Agust and me, first thing in the morning later. Prepare the weapons safe and accurate. We will test who she really is"

Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin mewls to disapproval of the trap operation. Jin fully aware that the youngsters always fond of having a new member to the team. For the past year, since the retribution. There are several survivors being fetch and take care of the team but they all betrayed by them.

Jimin went silent for a minute but when he's about to talk Jungkook cut his sentence mid-way

Everyone are shocked from what Jungkook offers for Y/n's disapproval operation for being a bait.

"kids, not today. If you'll do your job properly this time. I asure you all three, that she will be fine. If she's not I let you all sleep in my bed for a week"

With that statement of Yoongi they all went silent. Knowing Yoongi is a kind of person who chooses his bed over anything. Yoonji stride a walk towards his twin brother and give him a light pat on his shoulder asuring him that he will not lost his bed over to them. Mocking him obviously.

"it's decided then"

Yoonji comes to Y/n's isolation cage to let her informed for the up coming operation. Yoonji taps Y/n shoulder lightly to wake her up.

"Y/n"

Y/n groaned in light pain as she help herself to sit on the bed after waking up.

"here. drink this first after it, come downstairs"

Y/n nodded then Yoonji left the room. Y/n drinks the medicines that Yoonji gave her. Her wounds are slowly healing, the bleeding stops already and she doesn't feel any discomfort anymore from her right lower rib just a little sting but better than before. She fix the bed first before carefully walking downstairs.

She noticed that the facility are neatly organised, clean rooms with toilet and bath, having a good ventilation and most all with abuntantly storage supplies of medical stuffs, weapons, and food.

"how come a place like this exist when everything is in retribution"

"this facility was built almost half a decade ago before the retribution occur. It is profoundly built for this kind of phenomenon. It's not perfect but it can sustained us atleast another half a decade"
