I feel at eased not until ...........

" objection your honor , we can call the accused a murderer if you have enough evidence bought against him, but if you don't have a proper evidence I think the word murderer is not suit to address him ...right prosecutor?" the defense attorney said while glaring at me reason of the sudden chill running through my spine .

I look at my files checking all evidence I've got , the attorney won't object if he don't have a big evidence right ? I check it again and again but it was perfectly good .

the attorney resume his statement .

" your honor, I call my first witness , Dr. Smith he is the one who will testify about the health of the victim" he say , after a minute an old man with an ash hair and milky crinkle skin walk in front and sat down at the witnessed stand.

That old man is the one who gave me the victim health files so why on earth he's testifying for the accused .......

" your honor Dr.Smith is the personal doctor of the victim , so now we will hear if the victim is really in a good mind set like what prosecution said or she has a mind illness " that damn defense cried out .

the attorney begin his interrogation he ask so many questions like how the victim been lately , how is her health and so on and so for....

The Dr. replied and said the victim really has a mind illness and he treating the victim for almost 5 years now . And on top of that he also say that the victim has a severe illness and that illness is brain tumor how in the universe I didn't figure that out .

he also add that the victim already had a life term limit and this month is her time limitations what a perfect timing .

" If I may your honor , base on the files of the victim, it clearly say that she didn't has any illness or any life term limits so I want to ask where that severe illness came from ?" I asked .

the attorney fix his throat .

" Your honor " the witness begun .

" I am the personal doctor of the victim and like what the defense said I treating her for almost five years now five years ago her severe illness is just a mild illness but because she didn't want any therapy her mild illness became severe illness and this year so many doctor checked her but because its already severe no one cant save her anymore also me ,that's why we gave here a life term limits and now is the month of her limit. I gave her health record to the defense attorney .That health record included every single details about her health"

the witness said wait what record?! he didn't gave me any record about it . Oh! god I'm screwed .

" your honor this is the record that witness said " The defense said before giving the record to the judge and court reporter.

after the defense done with his interrogation of his first witness he call another witness again .

" your honor my second witness is Mr. miller " And this witness is his ace if the jury or judge find that the accused is really innocent my future will be doomed.

" so Mr. miller what did you witnessed?" The defense begin.

" I witnessed everything happened that night , i witnessed how she died " the witness cried out . Everything ?! base on the CCTV footage there's no other person there except from the accused .

" You said you witnessed how she died can you pls explain to us how ?" the defense ask the witness .

" That night she is running around her living room holding a camera, she kept running until she felt exhausted the giggled she make that everyone heard is when her pet jumped to her , that time she giggled , and after a minute I think her head begin to hurt caused she is holding it and kept hitting it she also bang her head on the floor . And when she tried to stand up she stumbled on the floor and didn't stand up anymore I don't know that she has severe illness so I didn't call ambulance caused i thought that she is just exhausted that time " the witness said his testimony doesn't make any sense though.

" can you say what was the exact date and time of her death?!" the defense authoritative said.

" yes she died June 13 , 2025 exact 1:00 Am in the morning " the witness said.

" now last question Mr . Miller where are you when the incident happened?!" the defense ask his last question .

" I am at my balcony inhaling some freshed air " the witness proudly said .

The jury in the other side keep whispering to each other and I think they already made their decision .

the spokesman of the jury stand up and say ....

" Your honor the members of this jury find the defendant not guilty behind reasonable doubt" the spokesman said before sitting back to his chair .

No way in hell how can it be , how did it happen ?! I'm screwed up oh Lord .

" Members of the jury , this court dismisses you and thank you for a job well done " the judge said .

" The accused is not guilty , dismiss " the judge said before he bang his hammer .

And now I think i need to say goodbye to my profession , i looked at the accuse once again and i can see that his eyes are sparkling i rolled my eyes and landed it to the defense attorney she's smiling at me full of smug . I bet this time is his luck .
