Chapter 3

Meanwhile.. Time: 7:45 PM at the Airport.

When I landed at the airport, air is cold as ice, i was freezing like a hell. I grabbed my jacket from the bag. After finishing my checking, i came out. I'm exhausted both physically and mentally. Due to long travel my legs became numb. They are not even responding to my brains order, my body is longing for bed and my stomach starving as hell.

To reach BARNES from here I thought to go by railways. But my body is not in good mood to obey my order. So its better to hire a taxi. I waved at a taxi and a taxi came

before me.

The man in the taxi is in his mid-thirties lean, white with deep sunken eyes chestnut brown haired. When he opened his mouth cigarette smell came before than his words.

"Can you drop me to this address in BARNES?" I've asked the taxi driver.

He looked me from top to bottom and chuckled.

Asian chick"

"I've asked whether you can drop me or not?" Raising my

voice.

"Of course babe, I'd love to but double my pay I'm in".

I had no strength to argue with him. So I've agreed. Right now only thing in my mind is Home.

35 MINUTES LATER,

I reached the address and paid the driver and he left. I'm going to meet my best friend after a long time. Even though I'm tired, excitement filled to see her stupid face.

I ranged the door bell, waited for her to open.

Long silence.

I rang the bell again. Still no answer.

Fear started to built in me, ranged again still no answer. Tried to open the door but locked.

Fear tremendously arisen in me. That's it enough of games. I dialled her number.

Her voicemail replied, hearing that my heart shattered and slowly started to regret for my decision.

Shit! What I've done.

Edward's office

Rob replied the call and turned only to see, Edward

running out of the room.

"Ed stop! Where are you running man?".

But he disappeared within a minute.

"This boy is completely nut" Rob murmured.

Again his phone rang.

"Yes, Susan" he answered.

"What happened?"

"He is not even ready to hear my words and he is running

out of the room like a mad man".

"Leave him. I know where he is heading".

Of course to the fucking bar".

Silence.

"Susan, what makes you to think that your son gonna recover someday he is going down day by day".

"Everyone can lose hope on him. But, I'm his mother so I won't and you know he is not same man you've saw in college or 3 years before. Something made him to be like this. He is not ready to share it, but someday it will change. He'll definitely open up with someone whom he trust until then we need to wait".

"But his company It's going down. Today Ruby company turned him down. I tried to convince them in every possible way but they are not ready to listen. This is unhealthy. He should know it".

"Rob, sweet heart, I can understand but we have nothing to do we need to wait and my instinct says this is going to end soon".

"You've both guys are mad. I'm done for today I'm heading

home"

"Wait Rob, I need to say thanks to you for looking over the

business for these years".

"I'm not capable as him Susan. I'm letting him down. One

day it's gonna crash".

"It's ok. But, Thanks for saving these much days".

"He is like my brother from another mother Susan. I've always have my brother's back".
