Chapter 1: Third person's Life

Third person's POV

Another day in a café but this time it's in a rainy season. I gaze at the window and wonder.

" Ice cold coffee for....." the barista shouted. I grab the coffee and went back to my seat. I opened my laptop ,  bring out some papers and started thinking. What should my new book called? What should be its story , plot? Who are the characters?

I sip some coffee and set up my earphones, listen to soft music and gaze back to the window. Wondering how I can make my story unique from other authors. I may be a beginner , but I love to make stories, yet I never write them in websites. I am busy during school year, especially this college. But know I will focus in this, I want to accomplish this.

I went back at my laptop , opened the word yet i don't know how to start. I picked my notebook and pencil, started drawing. Looked around the café and looked for inspiration and started drawing.

While I was sketching a couple sat at the table at my back. They are too loud for me, yet as their conversation go , you can tell that they truly love each other.

" Hey Babe the usual , or you wanted to try new this time? " The guy said.

" Surprise me babe :) " She answered.

The guy went to the cashier and ordered. While the girl at my back take photos, at first I thought she is striking a post. But as I glance she is taking a photo of the guy. I went back sketching after I saw what she is taking. The rain started to pour harder, and my phone rang.

* PHONE RINGS *

{" Hello? " } from the other end.

{ " Hello? May I know who is this " } I asked.

{" Hey.....I wonder if you wanted to come in our reunion " } my friend asked.

{ " I don't know if I would be free , but I try to call you back if I can go " } I answered.

{ " Sure , see you soon " } my friend said and hang up.

As the phone end, I heard the guy from the back.

" Here try this babe, you will love it. I am sure you will love this , I swear " he happily said. The girl takes a sip and she is surprised.

" Ow..babe you know my favourites" she said. And they started to enjoy their food.

Aren't they sweet. I head back sketching again and sip my coffee. I turned my laptop off to save it's energy since I can think on what should I write. As I kept my laptop, a guy went near me.

" Excuse me , is this seat taken? " he asked.

" No, no " I said, and kept my other mess.

" Sorry for the mess " I said and I went back to sketching.

I gaze back at the window and saw another couple from the other side. It's like they are arguing. I went back sketching again, but I couldn't help my self to look what was the next scenario. I looked back at the window , and saw the guy stood up and left the girl crying.

Well isn't that a bad day for her. I wonder what happened to them. I grab my coffee and take another sip, while looking at the girl at the other side. As my coffee ran out, I threw it and pack my things. And booked an uber, since it's still raining. I waited inside while scrolling through my phone.

As I scroll I saw many couple in my feed. I think all of my friends have partners now, well good for them. When will mine come then? I gain gaze , and my phone suddenly vibrate. I checked my phone and it's my uber.  I picked my things and walked out the cafe.

While I was traveling I gaze in the window.  We pass by many café and fast food chain. Then the driver suddenly pulled over.

" What happened? " I asked in shock.

" Sorry miss, but a child suddenly passed by " the driver said.

I went out without bringing any umbrella. I checked if the child is ok, even the driver went out too to check.

I saw the child crying, but not hurted.

" Hey are you alright? " I asked. She keep crying. I hold her hand and bring her to the side walk.

" Are you lost? " I asked.But she still didn't answered.

" Sir can you look if someone is looking for a child? " I told the driver. The driver took off and searched around the plaza.

" Here use this " I said and gave my jacket to the little girl.

" What's your name? " I asked.

" Ann " she answered.

" How old are you? " I asked again.

" I-Im fi-five years old " she answered with shiver, and she suddenly sneeze.  I checked my pocket if I have cash.

" Wanna grab something hot? " I asked her.

We went to a near by café  and seat beside the windows, so the driver could see us.  I left here in the table and ordered and hot choco , and a java chip frappe for me.

" Here drink this hot choco " I offered.

" Thank you " she kindly said. As she drink , she had calm and smiled at me. I smiled back.

" Can I ask you something? " she asked.

" Sure what is it " I asked.

" Why do you drink cold drink, even its already cold " she asked.

" Oww..well I think I just love it's combination. I don't usually drink hot coffee or tea when I was a kid " I answered.

" Then what keeps you warm? " she asked.

" The mood of my surroundings " I answered.

" Wow , but aren't you gonna catch a cold ? " she asked.

" Yes I might catch a cold , but I rarely had that when I was child. My mother would always remind me and my sibling to take vitamins C to stay healthy. And I am thankful for that , because as you can see I am practically healthy.  " I answered.

" Wow " she said with amazement. " I will start drinking my vitamins then too " she happily said.

We chat more about. Until her mother came.

" My baby! " the mother shouted with fear.

" Mommy!! " Ann shouted, and run over her mother. I walked to them.

" Thank you! for helping my child. I didn't know that she ran " the mother explained.

" No worries , she seems a good girl " I said and smiled.

" Mommy , mommy . I will start drinking my vitamins to be like her " Ann said and pointed to me.

" That's my girl " her mother said happily and calmly.

" May I get your number, so I can repay you " the mother handed me the phone.

" No, it's nothing. Simple thank you is already enough " I said.

" Can I keep your jacket? " Ann asked shyly.

" Of course " I said happily.

" Thank you very much " Ann said and hugged me.

" Thank you " her mother said.

" Thank you too... " I said and left them.

I ride back to the uber , and travel. I wiped my self with the tissues I have. And tied my hair.

" Where here " the driver said.

" Thank you, how much would it be? " I asked.

" 200 pesos " he said.

" Okay , here please keep the change. " I said and gave the money.

" Thank you, Thank you " the driver happily said.

It seems he really needs a money. I went in the house.

" I'm here " I shouted.

The dogs came running and my mother...

" Welcome, what happened? You are soaking wet " she asked.

" Ah nothing much , I will run now to the shower " I said.

" Yeah yeah, dinner is ready so get down after " she said.

I kissed her in the cheek and run to the shower. After taking a shower , I went downstairs so we could eat.

" Late " my little brother said.

" Sorry " I simply said.

" Ok ok, Let's pray " my father said.

We prayed and started eating our dinner. After dinner my mother reminded us to take some vitamins.

" Especially you, you went out without bringing any umbrella " my mother said.

" Sorry , I thought it was in my bag " I said.

I washed the dishes , and sat at the couch. And turned the tv on , so I could watch netflix

" Let's watch some horror " my second lil brother said.

" Ok, search some " I said and handed him the remote.

" Wait! " my lil brother said.

" Why? " we asked.

" I'll just turn my pc off " he said and run upstairs.

This is our typical day.  At morning we have our business but at evening we watch movies together.

" Ready!! " my lil brother shouted while running.

We started watching. We concentrated watching the movie so we could understand what is happening. At the end of the movie, I stood and went upstairs.

I grab my laptop and turned it on. Don't know what to do with it. I opened my phone to check for notifications. Still yet they are only for my games. I turned my chrome and went to youtube. Look for some music to play ,while I play some mobile games.

While I was playing I noticed that two of my teammates are on mic. I turned my speaker on so I could hear them, if they are giving instructions to each other. But it seems they are just trash talking each other, so turned it off again. As the game was over, I stood and go to my balcony. Looked outside and enjoy the view.  I grab my laptop and sat at my balcony. Thinking what should my story be this time. I may not finished my last story, but I should think for a new story.  I listened to some music again , and still thinking. I opened an online shop account and scroll, I don't usually buy online I just loved to look for stuff.

Then time goes by and I noticed it's already 9:00 I should get ready for bed. I washed my face , and go to my skin routine and went to bed.
