My Villainous Self

Whilst I was walking under the crying clouds. I was tired of my work because of my corrupted manager. Abruptly, my phone rang and immediately answered it.

*BOOM* *BOOM* *SPLASH* *YATAW*

'Huh, what did I just hear?'

"Um, hello? Do I need to call the police?"

"Checking, checking.... Ahh! It finally work, I was almost gonna punch it to a wall."

A scam again. I've been receiving these scams for several years. I know you can't fool me.

"Is this a scam? If so, I'm dropping it."

"Wait, wait no! Please, me and my comrades sincerely need your help. We have no time to explain. But, I'm sure you will be here sooner or later, as you are the destined hero who will save the nation."

"Heh. I'm gonna be your brave courageous warrior who will save the land, huh? Are you really telling that to a 28 year old woman who has devoted herself to work?."

"Lady, I know you don't understand but you will sooner or later. I'm truly sorry for my disturbance. I will end this call now as I am busy. Goodbye, future savior."

'And, they just said bye to their so-called future hero like nothing happened. What a lovely group.'

"Hey, wait! Don't just end the call, scam me I have money."

'Gosh, another useless phone call has ended. And, how come they've invented such outrageous thing. They must be so bored.'

'Hah....Life is full of surprises. I guess I should go home now. I can't wait to eat my mom's delicious cook.'

After walking for a few minutes, I stopped by the convenience store to buy a gift for my parents when I get home.

'Hmm what should I buy? Maybe sweets? Oh! I saw a flower shop while walking. Maybe they sell dafodils.'

I was busy picking sweets at the countertop just in front the cashier.

As I pick critically on the counter, the cashier looked anxiously at me.

I felt weirded and picked a sweet randomly to speed up my leave.

Fortunately there was no queue, the cashier still remained his expression. On the contrary, his service was normal.

I took the chocolate bar and grabbed the handle of the door to leave.

But, an earthquake occured causing me to fall down and hit my head.

The last thing I saw was a person covered with black mask.

Morning.

The sun shone to me forcing me to open my eyes.

However, I expected to be waking up in a hospital. However, I seem to be wrong.

Rather, I woke up to a wooden cottage enough

for two people to live in.

I was confused, as to why am I here? I tried to get up but my foot seems to be injured.

That may be the effect of when I fell.

I stayed there dumbfounded by the situation. After hours of cluelessly guessing of why am I here, a woman opened the door with hazel hair and golden eyes.

She was incredibly beautiful like the sun.

"Oh. You're awake."

After she said that she did not speak again so the atmosphere turned awkward.

She was rather cold when she talked despite her appearance.

She held my severely injured leg and massage it gently.

"Ow. It hurts."

"Of course it does. What do you expect?"

I went silent for a moment.

After a while I could not hold my curiosity so I asked.

"May I ask- you a question?"

I asked while stuttering since I was sensitive to people.

"Yes. But you can stop talking formally."

"Oh, sure. What is your name then?"

"Aurelia..."

"My name is..."

"Huh?"

"My name is...I can't remember."

"Well, that's understandable since you fell off a cliff."

"W-what!? I thought I hit my head?"

What does she mean by I fell? Surely, an earthquake happened, I was struck by It and fell. Then after that...

"You don't remember?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Allow me to explain then."

Every after winter a hunting event is placed usually at vast forests.

While the event was happening Duke Arnold saw a glimpse of blue light and followed it.

A hidden entrance was found covered with vines. The duke entered it to see what's inside. To a surprise, a child who could barely breath was found. But, the pitiful child died shortly...

"And...?"

I was dazed by what I heard. Duke Arnold was a kind man, hence he carried the child and dug a hole.

'Wow, the duke is a darling.'

As he shove the ground, the girl suddenly woke up.

But unfortunately, the girl woke up at the wrong timing. As she magically got up another contestant of the event shot a bull.

Because of that, the bull ran aimlessly towards the secret entrance. It crashed both the duke and the girl with extreme force.

Ensuing to letting the girl fall off the cliff. But don't worry, the duke grabbed the sword quickly and swung it toward the bull with a great spike.

"And that miracle girl was you."

"Ehhhhhhh!?!??!? I think you got the wrong person. I really have no idea."

"Well, I really don't know either."

If a girl who just died, rose again then died right after. That would cause a lot of commotion. I really just want to rest. But, I need to investigate.

After observing all those ridiculous information for hours and remembering all the fantasy storylines that I've read. I got a good anticipation.

So in summary, I got transmigrated to another world after hitting my head hard. Nonetheless, I'm flabbergasted yet sad right now.

I really miss my parents.

I want to see their smiles while eating sweets.

I want to hear them laugh loud at my jokes.

I want to complain about my work to them.

I want to come back.
