Chapter 1: Why Am I In That Trash Of A Book

“Doctor Yang, did you finish the operation?”

A nurse ask the usually indifferent doctor of Yongheng Hospital, Yang Suyin.

“The operation was a success. I talked to the parents family already. Let the patient rest for a bit and move him to the PACU¹”

“Yes, doc.”

The nurse listened to her attentively, memorizing every word you said. Noting it for her(nurse) to do later.

“Also arranged nurses to go to the patient's ward to check the patient's vital signs, observed if the patient feels any pain and gave him some pian management and give the patient the fluids needed.”

Looking at Yang Suyin's appearance, the nurse can't help but worry for her. Her(Yang Suyin) hair is slightly messy, eye bags present and low energy. Yang Suyin has been doing the surgery for more than 5 hours and before the surgery, she was tending the other patients in need of a doctor.

As she walked out of the hospital to the garage, she could feel the burning glances behind her back unknowing of the cause.

As she grabbed the door handle of the car, she suddenly felt a sense of deja vu². Putting that thought behind her mind. She got inside her car, she put her bag on the passenger's sit and was ready to drive home and read her newly bought novel.

Hearing the phone on buzzing, irritated she hang up without looking at who the caller was.

Hang up.

Finally, losing her patience she answered the phone.

“Who is it”

She asked annoyed at who the caller was.

“It's me”

“........”

She shut up just from hearing the voice, already wanting to throw the phone away.

“Why did you call me?” She asked annoyed to the other party.

“Nothing. Just called to tell you ....... that I won.”

“........”

Unable to say anything, she looked at her phone. It's screen displaying two words 'Call Ended'

Flop!

Letting herself fall into her bed, she began to think about the happenings today. First of all, ‹that person› called, the weird glances that people sent her way. Yang Suyin grab the book on the night stand. Flipping the book novel into the last page she had read.

Until the moon had risen on it's peak she still continued reading the book even though having the urges of throwing it immediately.

“Urgh! Why!?! It was good at the beginning but why is the female lead so useless. And why did my cool male god turned into such a cringey infatuated guy. Arghhh! I hate it!!”

Due to anger she threw the book in some corner of her room.

' I'm just gonna sleep. I hope I would forget about everyyhing that happened today after I woke up.'

Never would have she thought that she would be transported to the book she now hated the most.

Somehow, the mattress feels more softer and her body felt lighter and more flexible, however, that was ruined when a sudden headache attached her.

Different flashes of memories appeared on her mind like a film.

“Mother! Father!”

A scene where a young version of herself infront of a burning house seeing the two figures of her parents hugging amidst the fire.

The scene changed again, into a funeral with the same girl wearing a black dress, head bowing down.

An old man approaches her, standing tall and mighty and expressing a dominant aura of an emperor.

“Become loyal to the Mu Family and I will protect you. I will protect your inheritance and a future all for you. Just serve the Mu Family with all loyalty. What do you say?”

“Susu, why are you so cold? ”

A teenager with caramel-brown hair and green eyes whined to a teenage version of herself while pouting.

The teenage Yang Suyin was unresponsive like the boy didn't even exist.

“Aghh! You are being like that cold and arrogant shenshen? Noo!!! I don't want to shenshen. One is already too overbearing and arrogant. The world don't need another block ice. ”

Putting that aside she looked at a mirror to see the same face she always have, same expression yet her skin have become more fair and smooth, her body figure better and she's wearing glasses?

Unconsciously remembering the memory of this version of herself.

Sorting out the memories she have received. This Yang Suyin is an orphan who's parents died on a fire incident when she was 12 years old making her emotionless and indifferent. The old patriarch of the Mu family came to her parents funeral, as they were trusted servants of the Mu family and he recognized her talent and take her in.

Due to the kindness shown to her, she had sworn her loyalty to the Mu Family and Mu Shenzheng(old Mu patriarch). She had develop an interest at medicine and become a doctor exclusive only to the Mu family members. However, this Yang Suyin still thought it wasn't enough and decide to become one of the two secretary of the 3rd grandson of Mu Lao³, Mu Jingshen.

Wait, Mu Jingshen doesn't he have the same name as the male lead of that damnable novel story.

Mu Jingshen.

He is described as cold and intimidating. The Ceo of the Mu Group Company. Owner of several other company in and out of the country.

He is the male lead of the “My Puppy of a CEO”. He was really cool at first but because of that self-righteous, dumb female lead, he became a total trash of a male lead of a trash of a novel book.

Does that mean she's in that trash?!?

Of all the novels that she could have transmigrates into.

Why am I in that trash of a book?

(1) PACU; is the post-anesthesia care unit, often abbreviated as PACU is a vital part of hospitals, ambulatory care centers, and other medical facilities. After receiving anesthesia for a surgery or procedure, a patient is sent to the PACU to recover and wake up. The PACU is a critical care unit where the patient's vital signs are closely observed, pain management begins, and fluids are given.

(2) Deja Vu; A sense of crisis. Can also be: Déjà vu describes that uncanny sensation you've already experienced something, even when you know you never have. Experts generally agree this phenomenon probably relates to memory in some way. So, if you have déjà vu, you might have experienced a similar event before. You just can't remember it.

(3) ****Lao****; is the chinese word meaning “old” or “elderly”. In my novel; Lao is used in Mu lap meaning old Mu or grandfather Mu.
