A surprised meet

It's already been 7 years now. Time passes so fast, just like the blink of an eye. Everything has changed, no matter what happens. She'll always have a place in Tan's heart. He can't forget her, he has tried many times but he can't forget her no matter how hard he tries.

The weather is good today but Tan still lives in darkness . How many years has he had to live in this dark world? He had a dream of her again. Tan’s thinking, ” What time it is now? It is already 6 am, I should hurry and go to eat. ”

When Tan goes downstairs, Hang is waiting for him in the living room. He always comes to get Tan every weekend. To be honest, Tan still doesn't really know why they became such good friends, considering one is an ice cube and another is a free spirit. But they still became good friends.

Hang saw Tan come down and he said

“You are late today.”

”...”

” Why don't you talk?”

” Welp, I'm kidding.”

Tan’s not feeling well because he had a dream about her. Hang continued asking

” Did you eat anything yet?”

” I just finished preparing.” Tan answered.

” What do you wanna eat, Tan?”

”...Anything is fine.”

” What about spicy food?”

”...”

” Dude! Don't tell me you still can't eat spicy food?!!!”

” Hmm...”

”Tan doesn't seem to like spicy since I was met him.” Hang thought. And he continues

” let's eat soup today then!”

” Ok.”

One hour later, they finished eating and Hang got another plan in his head.

” Tan!”

” yes?”

” Do you wanna watch movies?”

At first, Tan was confused many but still, in the end, he accepted Hang’s request.

When they arrive at XXXMall. Suddenly Tan get socked because he saw uncle and aunt Nim.

He told Hang that he's to use the bathroom. He keeps following uncle and aunt’s Nim secretly and he heard the word ”Lin”.

” Lin! Sorry that mom and dad kept you waiting.”

He feels butterflies in his stomach because he finally met her again. He started to walk to her but when she turned around, he saw a baby in her arms. The baby is around 2-3 years old and there was a man around hes age standing near her.

Tan turned gloomy because he thought that she already married and had a child as well. He turned back as all the spirit in his body was drained.

Hang was waiting for so long he got worried. He tries to calls but there was no answer.

Meanwhile, he saw a noisy crowd. He goes there and takes a look. One man’s beating another man uncontrolably and that man’s Tan.

Hang hurried to stop Tan and got hit by Tan. He tries to stop Tan but can't. All he can do is fight back. Hang keeps trying to fight and keeps shouting to make Tan wake up. Tan only said one sentence

” I told you to apologise, and yet you piss me off!.”

The man had bumped into Ta and that man was not sorry after bumping into him. When Tan’s pissed he becomes crazy. His mind turns blank.

Hang tries to shout again, ” open your f**kin eyes and look who at me?!!!”

Tan suddenly stops his onsluaght. He goes to the parking lot and takes his car then drives home. He said nothing and let Hang be. Hang called his chauffeur to pick him up. He was a bit shocked seeing this side of Tan. Because he only knew the ice cube man but not this berserker.

When Tan arrived home, his mom comes and asked him

” What happened to your face? Who dares to beat you?”

” There is nothing.”

His dad giggled and said,

” My son finally grew up! Hahaha”

His mom stared and him and said,

” Are you happy to see our son got beat up like this?”

His dad continues,

” Why not? He has been keeping quiet and never got in trouble because he is an ice cube. Isn't it good to be in trouble? If he is born without fighting, how can he be a man? The more trouble he gets in, the more experienced he gets. Getting into trouble is not always a bad thing. He's all grown up now. I'm proud of you son.”

His mom quietens a bit because her husband gave her a good explanation. She continued asking,

” What is really happening, Tan?”

” Don't hide it from me and tell me honestly.”

Tan is quiet for a while and tells her,

” I saw Lin...”

His parents become quiet and don't react because they know the reason after hearing Tan. His mom calls a doctor to give him a bandage and told him to take a rest after the doctor finishes.

The next day, Hang came to play at his house and asked him what really happened. He is really serious as he asked,

” Do you have any secrets that you hid from me?”

” You can tell me if you don't mind.”

Tan looks at him and asks back,

” Do you really want to know?”

Hang replies, ” Yes.”

*Tan sighs and tells him everything. *

After hearing everything, Hang becomes more understanding about Tan and he feels sorry after hearing that.
