The canonical characters from the “Maria Clara at Ibarra” story belong to the GMA Network prime-time TV series, as do all associated concepts. The screenwriters of the said series are utterly unaware that I or my story exist and are probably happier for it. This story is written to serve as nothing more than an outlet for one of my hobbies. I’m doing it because I felt like their masterpiece inspired me to create this story and am not planning to release any sort of monetary award for it. The plot for “Maria Clara at Fidel sa 21st Century” is mine.
