Roxanne Faucher is a twenty year old naive girl, and daughter of Boris Faucher, Australia's biggest business mogul. Wanting to experience life, she pushes hard on her agenda to get into a college far from home. Her father grants her request by placing her under the care of his godson, Hudson, who lives in New York, where her school is located.
Her whole life takes a turn after meeting Hudson. They both fall in love with each other, but unfortunately they can't be together, because Boris Faucher would never take that.
In between their tangled love story, Roxanne gets pregnant for Hudson and Boris forces them into marriage. Contrary to what she thought, Hudson wouldn't marry her and is ready to face the consequences of defiling her father's wish. Things take an ugly turn when Roxanne is involved in an accident, and Hudson has to give up his life to save her and the baby.
