Chapter Three: Samantha!

First-class,

"Stand!" The class mayor said, then they all stand,

"Good morning class!" The teacher greeted,

"Good morning teacher!" The whole class is in chorus, then we all sit,

"Before I start on our lecture today, may I ask Kian?" The teacher said,

"Yes, miss?" He said,

"Is your shoulder getting better?" The teacher asked,

"Yes miss, actually Joyce is helping me so I'm healing fast!" He said, and all the girls are confused,

"So that means she is living with Kian?" Clare whispered,

"How dare she do that?" Christine complained,

"Okay stop gossiping there we will start the class now!" The teacher found them whispering with each other,

"I think I just allowed a bunch of bitches to enter in my life! What a pain!" Joyce whispered,

"Haha!" Kian laughed,

"What's funny?" She asked,

"Nothing, it's just fun to know this side of you, haha!" He whispered,

"Tsk!" Joyce turned her head in front.

Lunch break.

"We're going to the rooftop?" He asked,

"Yes of course! I don't want to be surrounded by bitches when I eat!" Joyce said then quickly pick their bags while he walks outside first.

When Joyce is about to step outside the classroom she got bumped by someone because she's checking her things so she didn't notice that someone is standing outside the door,

[Joyce POV]

"Oh! I'm sorry!" I bowed my head,

'Wait!" I'm about to run but he suddenly grabbed my hand,

"Oh! Why? You need something from me?" I asked then easily face him,

"Hmmm! You drop your ID yesterday when we got bumped into each other, you remember?" He said with a shy and gentle voice,

"Oh! Sorry, I didn't notice because I'm in rush, I'm sorry again, and thank you for giving me back my Identification Card!" I bowed and thank him, I feel that I can't be mean to him so I made my voice sound gentle.

[Kian's POV]

"Why she's still not here yet?" I asked myself, then rashly walk back, and I saw her smiling in front of a guy, so he decided to wait at the corner,

[Joyce's POV]

"Thank you again, allow me to treat you some time? Hmmm?"

"James, my name is James!" He quickly responded.

"Oh, James, I'm Joyce, nice to meet you, but now I need to go!" I said then rashly walk.

When she arrived at the corner.

"Oh! What are you doing here?" She asked,

"Of course, I'm waiting for you!" He said,

"Ow okay!" She just saw that he is not in a good mood,

"Let's go!" She said,

Kian is very quiet until they reach the rooftop,

"Did something happen?" She asked,

"No!" Nothing he said with a plain expression on his face,

"Okay!" She's confused,

"Do I need to feed you?" Joyce asked,

"No, I can eat on my own!" He said with a slight anger tone in his voice,

"Okay!" She is really confused, she just ignores it and eats,

They eat quietly.

Kian finished his lunch first, he then stand and went to the edge of the grills at the rooftop and watch the other students,

Joyce just watched him.

After she finished eating, she picked their things and put them inside their lunch bag.

She quietly went beside him and.

"Hey! What happened?" She asked gently,

"Oh, shit! Don't talk to me with that tone, it'll melt me!" He speaks to his mind,

"Nothing!" He said,

"I don't believe you! You've been quiet since we arrived here!" She said,

"I said I'm fi.." He stop speaking when he saw Joyces worried eyes,

"Tsk! Let's go back!" He rashly walks to exit the rooftop,

"Oh! Wait I'll just get our lunch box!" She shouted.

When they arrive at their classroom theirs a new student sitting at Kian's chair,

"Oh!" He stopped at the door because he saw the new student,

"Oh, why did you stop?" Joyce asked, then peek from his back,

"Oh! Shes?" She asked,

"I don't know!" He said, then Joyce looked at his face,

"Ehemmm!" She smiled because she saw how shocked Kian is,

"Let's go talk to her!" She tapped his shoulder while smiling, she thought that Kian is interested in her.

Joyce also decided to talk to her because she saw other girls whispering while looking at her, she thought that she is a good girl,

"Hi!" She greeted her smoothly,

"Oh! Hello!" She greeted Joyce gently,

"Sorry to say this but, I think you got the wrong chair, he owns that chair!" She said then pointed her finger to Kian,

"Oh my bad, I'm so sorry!" She said politely then stand,

"No, that's okay!" Kian replied,

Joyce just looked at him,

"Hey!" Kian said, then tap her shoulder,

"Oh!" she startled because she is dazing off,

"Arent you going to sit?" Kian said,

"I'm about to... oh! You're sitting beside him?" She saw the new girl sitting beside Kian,

"I think so!" She said politely then smiled,

"Haha! Okay! By the way, I'm Joyce!" She smiled back then introduced herself,

"Oh! I'm Samantha! Nice to meet you!" She introduced herself,

"Hey! Introduce yourself to her!" She whispered to Kian,

"Do I need to?" He whispered back with a confused face,

"Of course!" She whispered then wink then smirked,

"Okay!" He said, can't say no,

"Hi! I'm Seri! Nice to meet you!" He introduced himself using his family name,

"Oh! Hi! Nice to meet you too!" She said while blushing,

"Hey! Why didn't you tell her your first name?" Joyce whispered,

"Why? I'm not comfortable when others call me by my first name!" He whispered with a little mad expression,

"Oh! Okay!" She said then turn her sight outside the window,

The bell rings

The class started but Joyce is still looking outside the window,

"Miss Padilla!" The teacher called her but she is still dazing off,

"Miss Padilla! Go out!" The teacher shouted,

"Oh! I'm so sorry ma'am I didn't mean to daze off!" She apologized,

"Pfffttt!" Kian stopped his laugh but,

"Mr. Seri, what's funny? Go out with Miss Padilla, stand outside the room until I finish my class!" They both messed up with the wrong person, they got punished,

They both walked outside,

"Tsk!" Joyce scratched her head,

"Pfffttt!" Kian is trying his best not to laugh,

"Aww!"

"Laugh if you want!" Joyce kicked his leg,

"Haha! That hurts!" He still laughs even he's hurt,

"Tsk!" Joyce rolled her eyes at him,

The bell ring

"Ahh thank you!" Joyce sighed, then rashly walk inside the room,

"Kian!" Kate walk towards Kian while he is on his way to go inside their room,

"Augh! What a pain!" Joyce heard her, she's about to get Kian but,

"Hey! Can you please tour me around? Since it's our vacant. Can you?" Samantha approached Kian nicely.
