Chapter 3

I woke up after my evening nap and and it was 7 in the evening. Sighing I woke up from my bed and went down into the kitchen to make preparations for the dinner. While being in the midst of cooking dinner, I heard a soft knock on my main door. Cleaning my hands on the apron I went to open the door, and it was non other than aaren at the door. I step aside to let him enter. I closed the door and went back to the kitchen. Aaren followed me. He hugged me tightly as soon as he reached the kitchen. I was about to push him away but I felt his tears dropping on my neck. I was flabbergasted. I gently rubbed his back and gave him time to calm down . After calming down he held my hand and began apologizing . He said I am really sorry for not caring about your feelings and hurting you. It was never my intention. I just wanted you to know that how precious you are for me. I should have cared about your choices. I replied it was my mistake also, I overreacted . I should have understood that being my partner you don't have any obligations to be with me all the time. You do have your own personal space and I should respect that. I should not invade your privacy. He held my face in his hands and replied you have the full right to interfere in my life however you want. I don't mind leaving my privacy for you. As you are my most precious one. His words brought a red tint to my cheeks and I blushed 😊. Pushing him away from me 8 went to check on my dishes. He came and back hugged me and said I can smell something nice for dinner. What are you cooking? I replied pasta. He asked whether I am allowed to eat or not? I said you are invited anytime at my house for food. After few minutes dinner was ready. We went to the table and had our dinner. After finishing up I washed up the dishes and went back to the living room. Aaren was getting ready to leave. He said today's dinner was really nice. Let's meet tomorrow in the school. He hugged me and went away. I went to my study room and completed my homework, and then prepared for tomorrow's class and went to sleep. Lying on my bed I remembered the day when Aaren confessed to me. He had really prepared a lot for me by decorating his whole garden with amazing lights. He also prepared lunch for me. after the lunch we went for a walk by holding hands. And he confessed to me on the way. I wasn't able to give him a reply then because of my insecurities and doubts but now I am ready. He has become so much important to me that I can't bear to let him go. If this happens in the future I will surely be shattered.
