chapter 3

Beatrice POV:

We made 4 croissants and I found out his name is Lucas. Nothing more information about him. I think I should call the police after he eats his croissant.

"Angel?" He says as he takes another bite of his croissant.

"What is it, " I say with sympathy.

He sits on my lap and starts hugging me. "Please don't call the police on me " he hugs me more. I felt sadness because why wouldn't he want to go home?

"Lucas I won't be we need to find where are your parents ok.  They must be in worry about you " I say as I put him on the chair next to me.

I hear the door open fast and the aura of the shop changes.

"There you are Lucas I was worried about you "  A man who looked maybe in his 20's starts to walk at us.

His brown dark eyes landed on me.

I smile and stood up from the chair that was next to Lucas.

"Hi, my name is Beatrice I took care of Lucas until you came " I know what you might WTF but I only wanted the ground to slurp me up.

"Thank you " I hear a voice that sounded familiar to me.

"Adam!" I say not knowing what to do.

"Yeah yeah it's me the ladies love me," he says sarcastically and I only laugh at him.

I could sense that the man was looking at me but I didn't care. Maybe he was thankful that I found Lucas and no one that was planning to do something else found him.

"But daddy I want angel, I want an angel to come with us please daddy " I hear Lucas crying it broke my heart but I only smiled at him trying not to feel more sympathy for Lucas.

"Hey there look at me," I say as I pull him to my chest "I promise you tomorrow we can not each other here and we can play I promise " the man stared at me but didn't say anything.

"Angel do you need a ride home?" I hear Adam saying as he takes away Lucas from me.

"No, thank you " I smiled.

Lucas left sobbing and it broke my heart I just finished my job for today.

As u went home I told everything to Gracie and she didn't like the idea of him not even thanking me. I convinced her that everything is fine and she wanted tomorrow to see Lucas for the first time I was happy.

Time passed and I went to sleep as fast as I hit the bed.

In the morning I woke up and felt like trash as always. 

I took a quick shower that was 30 minutes and I went to pick an outfit.

...

I went outside of my apartment and closed my door after me with my key.

I saw Gracie waving her hand towards me and eating a bar of chocolate. I swear this girl be eating how much she wants and she won't put on weight on her.
