I was startled for a moment but then quickly picked up her call.....

Elliot : Hey! Amy!

Amilia : Hello? May I kindly know if the user of this number is dead?

Elliot : Madam the user is alright!

Amilia :  Then can I file a FIR in her name?

Elliot : Huh?

Amilia : Idiot! How could a stupid like you survived on this planet for 22 years?!

*She started lashing out on me all of a sudden as she continues......*

Amilia : I've been texting you for sooo loooong!

Were you dead or waiting for me to come and kill you personally?!

Elliot : Hey! Hey! I'm sorry about that! I just turned off the notifications. I'm soo sorry!

Amilia : Humph! Don't need your 'sorry'! Listen, if you dare to do something like that again, you'll be beaten up to death by me! Mind that! Btw you remember what is it today?!

Elliot : umm...Today.....*oh crap! I'm doomed now!*

It wasn't her birthday, nor a festival, neither any special day....Ugh! My Brain's gonna burst out! What the hell is it today?!

Amilia : What? Have you seen a ghost or something?

Elliot : No, it's just.... I'm sorry! I forgot!

Amilia : No worries! After your work just come to my place. Don't worry I'll not beat you.

Elliot : Seriously? You're not mad at me? Promise?

Amilia : Yes! I do promise but I'll get mad if you don't arrive in here right after your work ends!I shortlisted some series that we can watch together.

Elliot : Okay! You have my word then! See ya!

Amilia : Bye! Call me if anything happens! I got your back!

Elliot : Okiiee! Byeeeii!

I hanged up the phone as the cab arrived and got into it.

*Amilia was the one who cheered me up in my worst times. She's more than a best friend to me. I would describe her as bold,tall , energetic,amiable  and yeah with a kind heart. Though sometimes she sounds so harsh but her heart is as kind as a child's would be.*

With a blink of eye I reached at the main front of  Divine film station. I worked here as the assistant manager with favourable salary.

They were deciding to shoot a new movie with a newbie actress as Main female protagonist.

I didn't knew much about her but heard from my colleauges that her acting skills are fantabulous.

I took the elevator for 3rd floor where my working desk was. As soon as I reached there , my phone *beeped*

I saw a text message from my manager which says...."Come to my office to greet the new actress." 

My manager, Caesar Friedrich was totally a hunk but god never makes anyone perfect!

So, whether he was good looking but was grumpy.

As a result no one dares to approach him.

I rushed towards his office and took permission to enter his room. As soon as I stepped in, I saw a lady sitting on the sofa with a grin on her face. Yeah as per her looks, she was someone to be admired.

Though I wasn't able to see her  clearly due to her flicks covering up half of her face.

While i was all gazed on her, my manager instructed me with his cracking voice....

"Ahem! Ahem! You're just in time. Meet her, she's the new actress, Ms.  ......"

He didn't even completed his sentence that she interrupted in between and I think that was quite rude.

"Hi Elliot Annesley! Long time no see!"

It didn't take me a minute to recognise whose the voice belonged to.
