Chapter One from the beginning.

here is the introduction

the time at Hua’s Cafe.

Main Characters: Xinyi ling. I am 14. the main protagonist of this novel. She was born in the island nation raised in China.

Ling Hua gender female. Age 14. The older twin sister to Xinyi. Also, From the island nation

Ling Sakurai gender male. Adopted brother to the siblings. Age 15. Plays a small role

Fei gender female age 11. Genius like Hua and skipped 3 grades. Good friends with the main protagonist.

Sakura gender female. Age around 16. In the same class as Xinyi and her cousin.

Yuki and Yue first appear at the end of chapter 3.

Supporting characters

Father and mother * only mention.

Mr. Ron The head butler. Age 52

This story is for people older than 16.

“Hey Fei are you busy after school today,” I asked her, scared out of my mind.

Then she answered me.

“No, I am not busy Xinyi and you are still the same scaredy-cat you were before and I heard a new cafe opened up,” she told me.

And the new cafe is owned by my twin sister Hua who had already graduated from university last year at a young age of 13.

What a genius she is and our older brother is in his first year of high school and there is one secret nobody knows we are not related by blood at all.

“Sure, Fei I will come to the cafe with you but my twin sister owns that cafe. You remember her, she just moved back here this weekend,” I said.

Then school was finally over and I took Fei’s hand and ran over to the train station as we usually do every day for the last 6 years.

Then we finally reached the train station and we both boarded the train heading over to my house.

An hour later at the ling family house with a cafe inside of it, the public can enter at any time.

And my friend Fei lived in one of the rooms in the manor.

“Hua are you here,” I said looking for her.

“こんにちは、今日の学校の様子は妹です。待っています hello Xinyi how was school today,” Hua said speaking in both Chinese and Japanese.

“Sister, why are you speaking Japanese again and didn’t you open up a new cafe earlier today,” I answered her.

Then Sakurai entered the room.

“Big brother, you are home,” both of us said.

“Let me meet some rest the lesson was so tiring today the online computer class was the only thing that made me not bored of it,” he said.

Then both me and Fei headed down to the cafe.

And how did he have a teacher remote from a different country?

Well never mind about that.

Oh, my name is Ling Xinyi and I am a last year junior high student born on May 4th 200x and a second younger than Hua.

“Miss ling your tea is here,” Mr. Ron said as he gave me some tea.

Then Fei sat down next to me and we ordered an ice cream float.

“Where is your ice cream float Fei,” I asked her.

“Okay sorry I lied I had only ordered it for you even if you’re older than me you will always be shorter than me Xinyi,” she said matter of fact.

“Stop saying I am short I will be taller than you just wait Fei,” I said embarrassed as I ran to my room.

The next day.

Time 6:00 am “yikes I am going to be late. Why didn’t anyone wake me up? The train leaves at 6:30 so Fei are you awake,” I said in a rushed manner.

Then I saw Fei all ready to go and in her uniform.

“Xinyi you are ready it is already 6:05 let’s get a move on,” she said as she grabbed a piece of bread and grabbed my hand and rushed both of us out the door.

And yes, it is only winter and today is the 2nd day back since winter break but the cherry blossoms bloom all year long so it is impossible to tell when spring is coming now isn’t it.

We then reached the train station and boarded the train.

I then sat in my usual spot on the train and Fei started to speak to me.

“Hey Xinyi, did you study at all last night,” she asked me.

“Wait study, no after I went to my room, I fell asleep right away huh I forgot to study for the test today. Can you help me study before we get to class,” I asked her?

“Okay I will help you study,” she answered me.

An hour later.

We had reached the train station a five minutes' walk from the school.

We then entered the school and went straight to our classroom.

And we sat down waiting for class to start.

“Hey Fei where were you yesterday you were supposed to clean the classroom by licking it,” a bully said?

This girl is Mizushima Tomoe, one of my friends and always pulls pranks on us.

“Hey, can we study in peace,” Fei said.
