Chapter 2. The first kiss.

During the 2nd period.

 Class doesn’t seem boring, and my brother says my entrance exams are in two months.

Then Tomoe passed me a note.

 “Sorry about that, it was a prank,” she had written in a letter.

And her Chinese is too good for someone who has only lived here for a few months.

Yes, she moved here from the island nation a few months ago but both I and Fei knew her for years, but she always pulls pranks on me.

 “Miss Mizushima, you are in the wrong class,” the teacher said.

  And she is in her 6th-year of elementary school and is older than Fei by 2 months. Her birthday is October 19th and Fei’s is December 31st.

I then looked at Fei, and she was sitting there as no one was there.

 “Hey, Fei class is over, want to head to the elementary school section with me,” I asked her.

 “Sure, I will be right there,” she said.

  We then walked over to the 6th-grade classroom, and we are 3rd years only.

She is the smartest student in the school.

 And she is 159 cm, while I am 150 cm.

 Why is God so cruel to me?

 “Hello Xinyi senpai,” Tomoe said.

 “Hey, why isn't senpai a Japanese term? You should call me a senior student since I am in an older grade than you,” I answered her.

 Then the teacher miss su wanted to talk with both of us.

 “So is it about our plans after middle school, miss SU,” Fei asked.

   “Yes, what school were you planning on going to, you two,” she said.

 Then, Fei said that she was going to Japan in the new school year.

 Wait, she is moving there, why.

 After school was over, I asked her why she was moving, and she didn't respond at all, only a kiss on the lips.

 “Why did you kiss me,” I asked her.

“Because I love you, Xinyi so, please go out with me,” she said as we continued to kiss.

 And we were back at the café at that point in our spot, kissing.

  That evening, in my room, I noticed Tomoe on my bed.

“Nee-San, you are back,” she said while inside my bed under the covers.

“Tomoe Chan, what are you doing in my bed,” I asked her.

 “Because your bed smells just like you nee-San,” she said.

 I was completely embarrassed and told her to leave.

 So, she left and went to her room.

 I then fell asleep.

 Then I had a strange dream or a flashback of a strange girl.

  “Do you still trust me, big sister,” the girl in my dream said?

 “No, and you are my older cousin, so you are a big sister to me,” I said in the dream.

 I liked her back then but what was her name, and before I can remember what her name is, the dream ends.

The next morning.

 I was wide awake, but today wasn't a school day, or we asked the teacher if we can study at home for a few weeks while Fei does important things.

  Then Hua entered my room.

 “We got a letter from him”.

“Hello, my daughters hope you are okay, and please forgive both of us. My meeting has been pushed back to a different date so sorry and here is the money for this month,” the letter said.

  I then walked into the garden and a little girl was sitting next to the flowers me and my cousin planted 6 years ago.

 Then the girl ran up to me.

“Big sister. It has been forever, please protect me,” she said.

Oh, now I remember this is my cousin Sakura, and she hasn't grown in 6 years, and she is only 140 cm pretty short other than me who hates being called small.

“Are you Sakura, my cousin from Japan who moved to America 6 Years ago,” I said.

“You remember my name, big sister,” she said.

She always likes this, and we made a promise six years ago, but I don't remember it

“...,”

 and before I could even say a word, she kissed me.

 “Sakura stopped kissing my younger sister,” Hua said, lifting her and carrying her inside.

“Let go of me now,” she said, but no one heard her, and I headed inside as well.

  “Oh, hello big brother, it's been a while, please love me,” she said in front of Sakurai's face.   “Sakura, why aren't you older than me by a month, and I am not related to you remember,” he said, then leaving for school.

“Sakura, you have tons of explaining to do, like why you kissed my sister,” Hua said.

 “Because I love her, does that matter at all,” she said.

 “No, it doesn't and good night,” she said as Hua was saying it was nightfall already.

“Let’s get some sleep, Sakura,” I said, then drifting off to sleep.
