Those words rang in my head as I marched down to class.
What the hell is wrong with Andre Anderson.
He couldn't just bump out of nowhere and distract me.
Asking me to be friends with him, I mean him. He’s my secret admirer for crying out loud, I can’t possibly say no to him.
That’s letting an opportunity as scarce as that out of my hands.
I don’t have to jump into conclusions yet. Give it some time to think about it.
I don’t wanna seems desperate. To him.
And the party.
She wasn’t so sure about that.
She would’ve to think about that as well.
When I was trying to fix my mess up life. Andre came out of nowhere and distract me from it.
I angrily marched towards my next class.
"Just some annoying.."
And I hit my head on something hard. Was that a wall or what was it.
I lifted my head and saw the grumpy and disgusting look he had on his face. He was like he would blow up anytime soon.
Like storm.
He was the guy from the principal office.
The new student in the same class as I’m.
I couldn’t deny it tho, he was handsome too.
But way too grumpy for my liking. And he’s just an obvious flirt.
"Sorry .."
I quickly moved back.
"You're a walking catastrophe. Can't you walk like the other girls."
He was rude.
I was certain.
“I walk quite well.”
“Really, you move right and left moving to the side like someone who has no direction. Following the wind.”
“I don’t walk like that.”
“Really, go ahead and walk and let’s see. Walk. I’ve my phone with me, I would gladly film you and show it to you.”
I clutched my fist.
Bastard.
“Still arguing with me.”
“Get lost!” I gritted my teeth.
He chuckled amusingly.
“Have anyone told you, you’ve a flat ***..”
That’s it. I’ve had enough of this jerk.
I punched him on the face.
He touched it.
“Wow, you’re feisty one.” He chuckle, wiping his lips.
“Get out of my way. Jerk!”
I hissed.
“I like you already..”
“Argh! Get lost, you flirt.”
“I haven’t even started yet.”
“Today is your first day at school and you’re already being a nuisance. Grade A student. Ya! My foot. You know what, I don’t want to see your stinking face. Don’t ever show your face to me.”
I yelled in his face and walked past me. But he place a feet on the way. Which I hadn’t seen, I kicked the feet, lost balance.
And fell on the floor.
“Sorry babe.” He smirked and walked away.
What is this? On a Monday.
Geez!
Can her life get any better today, just for a few minutes or so. It’s only making her headaches worse. I watched walking further away from me, is he a model, he appears like one. His walks and his appearance.
He was like a model and one of those teen celebrities.
"That's where you belong Aisling.." I heard Carly and her friends chatters. Obviously they were coming my way.
"Grow up Carly.."
My head snapped to where the voice came from and I saw Andre walking towards me.
Andre again.
Can they just leave me alone.
I suddenly wished everyone could go to Hell. And leave me the **** alone!
I wasn’t even pretty.
"Hold my hand"
I saw down at his outstretched hand.
I blinked.
Them place my hands on his.
He pulled me up my feet.
The look on Carly's face was horrible and muffled my laugh. Giving Andre a grateful smile. She glare at me, and I earn a disgust look from her peers. I eyed her back.
He was still holding me hands.
"I'll walk you to class."
I nodded and began walking with Andre.
With Carly eyes on us.
Hearing her scoffed.
******
"Have you seen him. Aisling. Have you.!"
Marie kept screaming as we walked to the park.
We were close for the day and heading home. I was damn tired. Monday were not my days.
Ben would be here any time soon.
So I would have to entertain Marie madness for a while.
"Am sure he's a model. Have you seen him walk. That guy is amazing. He's definitely taking Anderson spotlight. You can imagine when he walked into the class the first day.."
She sighed dramatically.
"It's was like heaven on earth."
I chuckled at that.
“I was in class with you remember. I saw him when he came in. I saw all that.”
“I’m not sure you did. And when he sang, oh my, I wanted to hug. There’s already a bet on him.”
“A bet, on what?”
“The first girl..” she lowers her voice.
“To get lay by him.”
“You girls are so stupid, you bet didn’t you?”
“Of course I did.”
He might be cute and all that.
But he was a rude jerk.
I huffed.
"I couldn't believe..."
"Hey Aisling! Marie! Hey!"
We halted.
And turn.
A student was running towards us. She was short and plump. Her hair bounce behind her as she race to meet up with us.
"Wait!"
"We're waiting!"
Marie yelled.
I just watched her. Observing her.
She was afraid.
Yet trying so much to hide it.
Wearing a weary smile instead.
I turned to the other side when she was close.
"You shouldn't go to the party Aisling.."
Marie looked at me.
"Are you going for a party?"
"How did you know about the party?"
I asked the girl.
Marie gawk at me for a while then returned her gaze to the girl.
"What's your name?"
"Harty"
"How did you know about the party?"
Marie was asking now.
"I over heard them talking about it."
She moved closer.
"You shouldn't go Aisling. I think something bad will happen to you there."
"Hold on a minute." Marie pulled me aside away from earshot.
"What party is she talking about."
"Apparently, Andre Anderson invited me to a party on Friday after school. He wanted me to be there."
"With other celebrities on school. Why would Andre talked to you. I mean you're not even.."
I gave her a look. And she clamps her lips shut.
"He said it was help in the case against me."
"Then you're going. But you're..."
She shakes her head disapprovingly.
"Let's go talk to Harty."
We returned to Harty. She was nervous. And kept hitting her fist on her palm.
"Hey."
She turned to us.
"Don't go Please.."
She was sincere and those eyes on mine.
Just like mom looked at me before she died. Just like dad looked at me before he left.
I look elsewhere.
"Please Aisling.."
