*Flachback*

In this world only the strong prevail, while the weak become steppingstones.

The only way to survive is to become strong or succumb to the strong. This world overflows with magic. Every drop magic is based on one or more of the four laws: Time, Space, Nature and Gravity.

There are two ways to get stonger in this world, spiritually or physically. This is called cultivation, there are many different ranks in cultivation, five levels of each stage and ten stages of each rank.

Magic can do anything but for such great power there is always a cost. The cost is your spiritual energy or mana, which are in forms of magic particles in the air that you are unable to see with the ***** eye, when you absorb it, it is stored in your core. The stronger you are the bigger your core gets, the more mana you can store. Beware if you use up all your spiritual energy and try to do magic without replenishing, the cost shall be a few days, months or years of your remaining life depending on the magic you preform.

This world is merciless and cold, don’t be kind for you will be taken advantage of. Never are you allowed to show weakness, for once you do others will make you their prey and pounce on you whenever they are given the chance. Always be on guard for you never know if there is danger lurking just around the corner.

My father looks at me with caring eyes as I was sitting on his lap.

“Alright time to go to bed,”

*Back to the present*

This is the world I live in.

I was stupid enough to disregard my late father’s words. Who would’ve known I would become her puppet, she played me. Though I hate her to the guts I hate myself even more for trusting her.

This world has an unspoken set of rules, I didn’t follow them and look were I am know, I’m laying down at the bottom of a cliff waiting for death.

There was only one person I could really trust in this world but I killed him. Ironic isn’t it? I killed him and she threw me away once she didn’t have a reason to keep me anymore, I guess this is what they call retribution.

If I ever get the chance I would like to go back in time and fix my mistake.

*Tears run down the side of my cheeks*

*Growling sound*

Unlike ordinary people I wasn’t feeling scared knowing it was about to eat me, but rather I was quite happy to know I would die.

I was trash who became a puppet the was thrown out once she got tired of playing, I closed my eyes.

“GAHHHH!”

I felt a sudden surge of pain in my neck, coughing a few time I took my last breath.

*Coughing out mouthfulls of blood violently*

I’m sorry, if you can hear me please forgive me I know I was wrong.

“Tch”

I’m so pathetic asking someone I killed mercilessly to forgive me and not hate me to the guts,

“hah... sigh”

I’m sorry though Raven I really am.

*My vision starts to dim*
