I was born with a very weak and small body...

My body would collapse on me if I stood or walked for more than a minute, I wouldn’t even dare try to run or jump since I would fall unconscious. I couldn’t carry anything heavier than an average sized tea cup filled with blood.

Thus my slave Raven were my arms and legs and would help with many small tasks other people could do by themselves.

Raven was chosen to be my slave even before we were born. His parents were also slaves that belonged to my father, the king. Unlike the others he was a rare human possessing delicious blood and he was also blood contractor.

When us vampires mark slaves as ours, a symbol will appear on either their necks, face or backs, but in some rare cases the slave’s blood is the proof that they belong to someone also known as a blood contractor. Once a human blood contractor is ‘claimed’ they connot change masters ‘till thay die.

In my continent us vampires breed human slaves for more of them.

Raven was one of a breeding slave’s product.

You may think my parents despise me for being a weak child but they don’t.

I may be weak in everyday tasks but when I’m attacked or in a fight my pure vampire blood “awakens”, making me have twice the strength and speed of my opponent/s.

I was a so-called ‘genius’ but I fell for her petty trick...

As night came the raven was put back in his room and the maids and butlers went back to their jobs.

My father and mother didn’t stop looking at me. I stared back at them...

Translation: Mum, Dad I missed you soo much!

*Father strokes my head*

Father: Shhh It’s alright little Kiro we’re here...
