GRANNY’S TRICKY TRAP

NEXT MORNING

“Granny, Butler Mo, good morning” greeted Angelina enthusiastically.

Dressed in a very classy and formal attire with fully sleeved and high neck formal white shirt and a pair of black skin tight pants, in a manner that is so conservative that even her snowy white feet were covered with a pair of black socks and her long, slender and beautiful fingers were hardly visible.

Her long silk like bangs were slightly covering almost half proportion of her eyes, yet the pair of black starry eyes were beautifully visible just as the clouds can’t hide the moon.

Most of her body was covered except her lips, nose and slightly visible eyes. Yet they were enchanting enough to steal a second gaze.

“unn hmm” granny was a little bit surprised to see her so energetic as if nothing had happened yesterday “good morning, come have some breakfast.” replied granny with a simple smile.

For some time Butler Mo was enchanted with her beautiful appearance and elegant aura.

Actually it was not his fault at all, now she doesn’t look like a beautiful and young teenage girl like yesterday but an elegant and profound lady.

“Good morning, Young mistress.” greeted Butler MO with a gaze of appreciation.

Angelina replied “umm no no no imm runne latee” (i am running late) while stuffing a piece of bread in her mouth.

Granny asked curiously, the reason, for her to be in a hurry “What happened? What’s with the rush?”

“Umm hmm” get chocked while swallowing the bread in a rush “There is a share holders meeting for the presidential candidate of Fin Corporation in absence of the heir of the next generation aka me, so the most suitable candidate now is my father’s sworn brother aka my uncle. So I can’t just sit still and watch him get his way so easily.”

Granny grinned and said “ohhh!” in an overly surprised tone.

“It must be that old cunning fox. Hmm! He can’t even wait anymore” said Angelina in a sarcastic tone while drinking water in a hurry.

“No, it’s me” replied granny very, very overly frankly.

“whoosh! Hm hm ( cough) What?!!” Angelina gurgle the water in her mouth and asked with astonishment.

“yeah! I thought that since you already agreed to take over the company, then we should do it as soon as possible, before, what do you call your uncle just now hmmm oh! Yeah cunning old fox, before that old cunning fox makes more mess of your parents hard earned business.” replied Granny.

“What? But don’t you think that it’s.....it is way too fast” asked Angelina.

“OH! My dear granddaughter, since your parents left, you are now my responsibility. I am getting old now. You have to support my poor family in the future so you have to stand on your own feet.” cried granny, dramatically really, very dramatically without even a drop of tear in her eyes.

Angelina thought (oh my god! This old hag’s acting skills have really improved a lot, it is A-list even the award winning actors are no match for her. And what’s with supporting the poor family, if you are poor then what are we? For God’s sake, not only the Z city but in the entire country, you are the most healthy and wealthy family name, since God knows when.)

“And and what if I suddenly die someday!” cried granny in a dramatic way, as dramatic as possible.

(OMG! What a 1st class acting that almost got me) thought Angelina but replied “OK OK Granny I got it. You care for me, alright. I am going now to fulfil your wish as soon as possible.”

Granny replied in hmm and asked “Do you know the way there? I will arrange a Chauffer for you.”

“No need granny, just lend me a car to drive there” asked Angelina.

“Why?” asked granny with an unpleasant look.

“I don’t have any now, so...Yeah I would buy one myself by today evening itself.” replied Angelina without making any eye contact, because of her self sufficient personality.

“Na na na, you definitely got me wrong. What I meant is why don’t you want the chauffer to accompany you?”

“Probably because I don’t like to depend on others and, Yeah, also because I did some research yesterday about the series of changes and development that occurred in the z city, in these past 5 years, so I want to see it for myself” replied Angelina knowledgably, adjusting her false specs (nerdy ones) she just wore casually to match with her outfit.....

[well more specifically to not look too much eye-catching and to look a bit ugly and nerdy to avoid being disturbed].......

(NOTE)- Well let’s leave the formality and get it straight: to avoid attracting the opposite sex and sometimes even the same sex get attracted too, cause such a big trouble to reject all of them

(oops! Slip of tongue, I mean to avoid.....

“OH! I see.” said granny with an affectionate gaze.

“And you know what, you are way more experienced than that arrogant brat of mine, even without any professional training. Good-Good, seems like I have a good insight. ”

“Huh? Whatever, Ok then I will make a move first.” replied Angelina while wearing her formal coat and shoes.

“Hmm then meet you at the meeting.” replied granny.
