Episode 3: Growing Up

Later inside the forest

"Is that a bear? Can I hunt it with this bow? Well only one way to find out. I missed but now it knows my location." (The bear gets closer about to attack) "I'll just have to run away right? No with my stamina I'll be dead before I get anywhere. No I can't blame myself I got here myself I have to kill this bear myself or I'll die. COME HERE YOU BEAR!" (Bear falls dead) "I did it! I'm alive but for my revenge against that prince I'll need to get plenty stronger. I'll destroy every evil in this world, what am I supposed to do with this bear? Wait I got it!"

Morning

"It's the next morning and I'm cooking bear meat, and if I learned correctly in this world bear meat is edible and healthy." Man: What smells so good this morning, Hasu are you making something?

Lai: No sir It's me! Man: Smells delicious, Oh and I'm glad to see you aren't afraid of me anymore! Hasu: Lai can cook!? "Is cooking that impressive? I can fight better than I cook though"

After breakfast

Man: Lai, I don't think I've told you my name yet have I? Lai: No you haven't sir. Man: It's Leon, I use to be a swordsmen back in my youth, unfortunately I sustained an injury to my shoulder so I can't wield a sword anymore. "This better not turn into a life story." Lai: Well I'm sorry to hear about your arm sir. Man: No it's fine but I want to ask you something, would you be willing to live with me and my son until you have found your calling? Lai: My calling? Man: Yes I want my son to grow up with someone he can see as a brother in exchange I can help you with 1 wish you might have. Lai: Can you help me get stronger? Man: I can definitely grant you that wish but I won't go easy on you. Lai: Okay I will grow up with your son and during that time you better teach me to fight, because after I'm done I'll be leaving.

1 year later

"I found out this man was not just an ordinary swordmen but one of the best in the world, and he's training me to fight with both knifes instead of one. I've learned even more about this world, adventurer guilds do exist and so do other kingdoms. Besides the kingdoms this man has been giving me so much training I can basically run over 2 marathons in 30 minutes. And hasu has been training with me to, his stamina isn't that good but he is definitely stronger than me physically. But thats not a problem since I still beat him in our duels, a lot of my moves I just copied from the games work here although some dont because yesterday I used a move wrong and was hanging upside-down stuck to a tree. Why did I even think about that embarrassing moment? Anyways I am now 7 years old and I can almost compete with this swordsmen on equal terms." Man: Lai, your growth is to quick for a child no it's even to quick for an adult. At this rate you might become the hero of this world. Lai: Heros exist in this world? Man: Well of course, you get 2 types of heroes. Number 1 heroes who get summoned to this world. Number 2 heroes who are born in this world. "NO WAY!? does that mean I can leave this place?" Lai: Sir, can summoned heroes return home? Man: Nope. Lai: OH CMON AT LEAST SAY SOMETHING EXTRA! Man: HAHAHA Well only the kingdoms can summon a hero but they haven't summoned another hero in 400 years. Lai: So the world isn't in danger? Man: Wrong apparently in 12 years the demon lord shall arise and the world will fall into chaos. Lai: Wait so were going to die!? Man: Well if there is no hero then we would most likely all perish. And with your ability to grow stronger so quickly I believe you to be born as a hero to protect this world from the demon lord! Lai: Haha, that's a funny joke.. Man: I'm not making a joke Lai! "His definitely serious." Man: Lai I'm afraid you will have to leave early and grow stronger to protect this world, I have nothing left to teach you either in 2 months you should leave and grow stronger. And go to the kingdom of Tuino and the churches priest will be able to know if your the real hero! "I'm so definitely not the hero."
