Driving is so boring. 'I feel like flopping down on a bed right now." "Huh? You looked awake when I woke you."Mary said with a little chuckle, sounding like dirt. You know what, I'm gonna say that. "YOU sound like a piece of DIRT!" "WHAT? Well you sound like... WATCH OUT!" Mary was right, exactly what I saw on a sign outside the car window. It was a half broken bridge under construction. Perfect for the day, yes. "OFCOURCE! Who broke the damm bridge?"

"Rowan, I broke the bridge... With a baseball bat! Ahahahaaaaaa" She really need to get her head checked. I really don't want to have to care about her. Why couldn't of she just left me alone to drive. She thinks it's funny but it really isn't. "Now we gotta turn around and drive the long way." Joe's is 25 minutes away from our home. That is, until we found out the bridge was broke. Joe's is now going to take 40 minutes to drive to. That's hell of a long way.

"Dang what a bat I used. HAHAHAAAAA!" "Shut up Mary." Half an hour after this she was still making jokes about that bat. I mean how could she be so reliable on the same thing. She's obviously not getting annoyed. Though I am obviously getting annoyed. We still have 10 minutes till we get there and I hope it comes soon. My head is killing me from her talking and laughing the way here. "AHA I SEE THE EXIT SIGN!" Mary said that so quick I almost wasn't ready for the exit.

"Only 5 minutes away from freedom! Right Mary?" Oh wait she wasn't annoyed. "Uh Rowan I'm not going in with you." Oh that's so fine with me, than it would be way easier! "OK, that's fine with me." Mary let out a big sigh in which says that she really doesn't like ordering. Two years ago she called for pizza and she spoke in a weird frequency. It sounded like an accent, but one O have never heard before. In person it's worse. She completely freezes and sometimes faints.

I have no idea what her problem is with talking to a normal person just like us. "There's the street! Take a left take a left!" I know how to take a left. "OK Mary." "Oo and the roads name is road Avenue!" I'm not stupid Mary I know what the street is. "OK." And there's the pizzeria, good old- "JOE'S! ROWAN WE MADE IT!" Ofcourse she had to ruin my moment. Yes and I'm going in without her which mom told us not to. Though it would be easier for her, and for me.

"Let me park first Gurl." Joe's is seated right next to where I will be going tonight. I can't wait for camping today. That would be so cool and calming! Especially alone. Ooo and the nice landscapes and- "Cmon Rowan YOU need to order the PIZZA for the FAMILY! Remember a-" "Large cheese pizza, I know. I'll be in and out before you stop breathing!" "Haha very funny." After Mary added her sarcastic fake laugh I stepped out of the car.

I began to walk up to the door as a few drops of water Hit my head. My eye twitched but, ofcourse, I still walked in. The door swung open with a be ringing and a new face brought into the place. "Nice to see you happy and wealthy customer! Have you been here before?" Ofcourse I have! Though I do you one thing to say, he hasn't. A new pizza man with fluffed straight brown hair and unglassed glasses was working the cashier. I couldn't see him that well because I forgot my glasses.

"Oh I have been here many times, never seen you here though." He shaped his hand into a eased fist. "Well I just got out of summer camp. I know school opens tommorow. I sort of wanted to stay in something school like for the summer..." "Well just so you know I got a large cheese pizza!" He somewhat got lost in his own thoughts. Hmm I tend to do that alot lately. "Oh yes! I almost forgot about that. "Don't worry uh-" I was trying to read his name on his employee tee without my glasses.

"It's Jonathan!" "Sorry didn't bring my glasses hah." I should have just said don't worry dude. "It's OK! I'll send it back to the bakers! They should have your pie! You don't have to worry-" "Rowan! My names Rowan." Atleast it was easy for him to ask. "Rowan! OK I'll remember that." Dude I wish I bring my glasses it would have been less awkward. You know I should figure out another way to keep them on me. Hmm let's see, new employee new... waiting tables ooo. Maybe I should take a seat there!

Obviously I had to take a seat. Even though I hadn't walked for 40 minutes my legs are sort of killing me. You know what else is killing me? How am I supposed to get the pizza back to the house before it gets cold? Hmm Jonathan is a cool name, never had that name as a friend before. That sounds cool maybe I could ask, for a phone number? Just because I don't have a friend named Jonathan. Wait a second, Hes got the pizza already-

"Oh sorry! I was-" "Lost in thoughts my friend? Don't worry I got lost in my thoughts earlier. It's a nice payback ya know for my wrong, uh, obedience!" OK now all I have to do is ask... Hmm how am I gonna be able to ask without making it awkward. "Only paying in dollars please!" "Oh yea! Your sorta gonna need to pay me back on that one too!" "Hah, 4.50 please! A 12.5% tax Sadly." Oh yea Mary gave me the money before we got in the car. "Here you go!" "Need the receipt Rowan?" Let's see I'm gonna just say, "Why not?"

Hmm maybe if I want to ask for the phone number I'll just say- "Sign here please!" Wait a second, I CANT SEE THE RECEIPT! How can I write it down when I can't even see where to put the pen?
