I mean, Lily is so tender to her, and Maitri opens up with ease, despite making a big problem out of practically anything, that other kids may say or do just the other day. Even talking with her teddy bear Maitri didn't seem as real as with Lily. So I headcanon they must share some special bond. oh, how I love something like this.
