In the depth of the ocean, there lived a group of creatures, which the humans call mermaids. These creatures are half fish and half human. They have the ability to live in waters as well as in the land. But there is one thing which stops them from interacting with humans that is...............fear

They fear that humans will capture them.They fear that humans will slander their house.They fear that their loved ones will go extinct. They fear........ because we have hurt our mother earth.

Umi : The humans who fight one another for power. It is easier for them to kill a being from different race. That's who they are.

Cordelia : Dad, have you been to the surface?

The curious Cordelia asks her father, the King of the Ocean, Umi questions related to humans. Her curiosity increases day by day which saddens Umi who dreadfully hate them.

Cordelia : I wonder how the world in the surface looks like?

Cordelia knows by heart that her father would never allow her to go. She also realizes the hatred her father has for the humans but for some reasons she never asked him the cause of this hatred.

10 YEARS LATER

Luisa : How shameful can you be! Your father, the King of our Ocean died today. But you, you didn't even cry a drop for him. Is this how much you hate him?

Cordelia : ......

Luisa : Answer me, child!!

Cordelia slaps her.

Cordelia : Mind your words. You are in no authority to tell me what to do.

She goes out of her room.

Luisa : I know....I'm no one but I raised you as a mother. I know I can never take your birth mother place. I know.....but your father entrusted me with your responsibility. For the first time in my life, he asked me to do something for him. I wouldn't let His Majesty down. I wouldn't! I will stop you, Cordelia!

A DAY BEFORE HIS MAJESTY'S DEATH

Umi, the King of the Oceans lying weakly in his bed. He crouches with pain every single minute. He feels it, he feels the pain...... like tiny, tiny ants walking on his body, bites on his skin, tears it apart and tries to devour hid body. That was the time when Umi thought of using Luisa, his rook in the chess game.

Umi : Luisa, I'm sorry that I ignored you all my life. You were always there for me. Even now, you're here with me.

Luisa : Your Majesty, please don't say that. I should be grateful that I'm married to you.

Umi : I'm thankful that you think that way. Luisa, I'm sorry for everything.

Luisa : No, Your Majesty.

Umi : Will you do one thing for me, my dear Queen.

Luisa : My dear Queen...... command Your Majesty. As your Queen I will do anything.

Umi : .....Thank you, Luisa.....I'm grateful to have you....
