The interceptor had just landed at the school when they realized that Kelvin was not there.

"why are we here exactly? Asked chiku for the fifth time.

The guys started searching, Gregory searching for Kelvin as the chosen one, while Chiku searching for Kelvin as a corpse being treated by someone close to him.

Troops in three interceptors dispatched and flew to earth, the citizens of Orb city escorting them with eyes of hope and good will.

At that time Kelvin was in the cave with his friends.

"shut up John" said David in an angry way, "we are all starving and we are all trapped in here, don't pester us just because we are men, we are all at fault, everyone must contribute".

Diana for the first time looked at Kelvin, he seemed to be in a deep state of thought.

"maybe Kelvin has a plan?" asked Diana out of curiosity.

Kelvin looked at David intensively.

"you smoke don't you?" asked Kelvin.

"y-yeah, why do you ask?" replied David.

Kelvin reached his hand out.

"so, can I borrow your lighter?" said Kelvin to David.

"how do you know that I have one?" asked David.

"dude, you are a rich kid" said Kelvin with a authentic obvious face.

David handed over his lighter. Kelvin took it and gathered some twigs and put them on top of a hole at the opening of the cave. He lit the twigs and took a knife from his pocket.

The guys were surprised as they saw mice running out from the hole. Kelvin stabbed them as they sprung out, one by one, though there were some misses but he managed to catch about six of them.

Then the rest gathered sticks and blazed up the fire and started roasting them.

"you guys eat up. I am not hungry". Said Kelvin to his friends.

"after eating, we should go down hill to pick our bags, it should be safe out there at night, we don't have wild animals in this part of the world.

At that time, the pilot of interceptor 03 had just regained consciousness.

" ugh, God, my head hurts. Thank God I am alive." thought to himself.

The pilot started checking signals of the mother ship in his crushed interceptor, but there was no signal. He then picked up a survival pack and got off the interceptor.

Meanwhile Gregory and Chiku had searched for Kelvin around the school areas, and went as far as shopprite. They went inside the shops searching each one of them and found no one, only a few dead humanoids.

"you are asking someone who is just arriving here along with you and clearly stating what I can clearly see with my eyes. Why don't you work on your intelligence for a change?" scolded Gregory.

"whatever, but I know the explosion took place over there" said chiku, pointing to where the explosion set off.

"at least now you have assumpted something as someone who is of a higher caliber, the explosion indeed took place over here. We should probably check out the security footage" suggested Gregory.

The two streamed through the footage, and finally came to a conclusion.

"I knew it! Haha, that kid is the chosen one"screamed Gregory in a jolly manner.

" but how? He is not even scratched to any form of burning, didn't you blow the whole school down when we were leaving? How is he alive and with no scratch at all? "asked the puzzled chiku.

" it seems like you are not getting it, he is the chosen one, his healing capabilities are above human understanding. "answered Gregory in a profound manner.

" I know but...even his clothes are unscathed, how? "asked chiku.

" you can never underestimate the power of the chosen one. "answered Gregory.

They continued to watch the footage.

" look, they took camping gear, so obviously they headed to the hills. We should be able to tail them and find them before dawn. "said Gregory.

'seems that the brat is the chosen one, I can't seem to stand the fact that I will be a subordinate to him' thought chiku to himself as they left for the mountains." he must die ".
