Splendour falls

Life is just a beautiful dream.This is the first phrase in which I strongly believed. Life then was actually beautiful.Unknowingly I was smiling being strangely content.

Those dreams I could never forget them. There was always a sunlit sky and I ran with a smiling face. Everywhere it was shining. The sky was blue. White clouds flew at their own pace. The mustard stalks danced to the tune of the gentle breeze. Everywhere I looked it was a stretch of yellow. The mustard flowers bloomed in full swing. I was happy.

The beauty tempted me towards it and I was sucked in. As I stepped forward I heard a sound, it came from under my feet. I looked and found white pebbles gathering under the foot I put up to walk into the field. It was wierd but still I stepped on it. As my feet touched the ground the pebbles had made the entrance. As I looked up towards the field I saw the whole of the path extending into a long stretched white line among the infinitely stretched yellow field.

As I stared the path was made. As I saw the path I stepped on it with my other foot and walked. The weather was heartwarming.

It filled me with energy. I started to run. I kept on running.

Running and running and running. I was running with my full speed. After sometime I became tired and stopped to catch a breathe bending my head and closing my eyes for a moment. when I looked up I saw a large ever green tree. I went to it and stood under it's shade. I watched the tree in silence with only the sound of the breeze in my ears.

As I sat suddenly I saw a golden lily blooming at a distance. It was pretty. It was beautiful. It was golden having a enchanting smell. Suddenly I felt the urge to pick it. I went towards it slowly and put my hands forward. I held the stalk and pulled it out.I took it with me and again sat in the shade. I adored it.It was soothing. But as I kept on watching it, I started to get drowsy and finally after a moment I fell asleep.

I was asleep, sound asleep.
