Okay. Clothes are behind you.

Brianna grabbed my clothes and shoes before walking with me to Deena and Keena's home. When we got to their house, the smell of nature seemed to grow tenfold.

Plants of all types were around the wooden home, it looked like a fairy tale. Brianna ran ahead to open the door for me as she hollers for her aunts.

The twins ran in from the back of the house before Brianna could finish saying their names. She quickly explains why I'm still a wolf and Keena flees to the kitchen to start working on a tea that is supposed to calm me and Kayla down in only a few minutes.

Deena leads Brina and me to the living room,

both of them on the couch while I lay on the rug.

After twelve minutes of waiting in the living room, Keena comes in with a cup in her hand that has a peppermint tea inside.

"This will help calm you down in minutes."

I nod my head in thanks as I drink every last drop of the liquid. As soon as I finish, Brianna leads me to the bathroom and lays my clothes on the counter.

As soon as I shift back and am finished dressing, I walk back to the living room while Brianna and her aunts are talking in hushed tones.

"Any visions today?"

"Aunt Deena, you can call them what they are. I know what they are and what they mean. I know who I am and what my power means."

"Deena just doesn't want to see you get hurt or used for your gift. Prophecy is a gift that only the Moon Goddess bestows when a great trouble or great turn in the world is to happen."

"Yes Aunt Keena, I know the legends of how those with 'The Sight' were slaughtered out of fear and the ones who escaped were forced to live in exile, watching their backs at every turn. This isn't then though. Besides you guys are the only ones who know. Eventually I will tell Heavenly. My destiny is to protect her and to be her guide."

I make a slight noise as I turn the corner. I pretend I didn't hear anything from their conversation. I say a quick set of goodbyes and leave the house, headed straight to my office. I have some work to do before the day is over.

"HEAVENLY! IF YOU DON'T OPEN THIS DOOR IN THE NEXT THREE SECONDS I WILL COME IN THERE MYSELF AND DRAG YOU AWAY!"

I jump out of my chair and race to the door, throwing it open in a very dramatic way, cause I mean seriously, a princess with sass is a princess with class.

"Okay okay! Seriously Ariane! I was just finishing a report! You need to learn to chill out."

I move away from the door frame allowing a highly energetic Ariane and a laughing Brianna into my office.

"Don't tell me to chill out! There are only twenty nine hours, forty seven minutes, Fifty-two seconds and counting till we have to get ready for The Ball and you two don't even have your dress!"

"Really? The ball is tomorrow?"

Ariane gasps dramatically and falls into Brianna's arms.

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! YOU ARE A PRINCESS AND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHEN A BALL YOUR FAMILY IS HOSTING IS?!?!?!"

In case you can't tell, Ariane is really excited about The Ball. This is the first "Mate" Ball any of us have gone to with the chance of meeting our mate.

"Okay okay, so I forgot what day it was, it's not a big deal. Besides, I have a ton of work to do guys. So why don't you two go get Brianna's dress without me. I'll just wear something I have in my wardrobe."
