So did the guest.No one bowed slightly to the king.This man was truly fearless and disrespectful towards my father.I already got a bad feeling about him. Not that I thought my father deserved any kind of respect,but because he was so daring with his actions already.

He must have noticed people's reactions,it was obvious but he didn't seem to care.My father on the other hand didn't react,he just gestured towards me.

As I saw him turn to me,I quickly lowered my gaze,then heard the clicking sound of his footsteps as he neared before sitting on the other end of the table facing me.He didn't utter a word, wasn't he supposed to greet me or even tell me his name? I don't even think father told me his name but I didn't give him a chance either. I cried and fought the day my father told me he was marrying me off to some stranger,my father was stubborn and had already made his mind

"Today I gathered all of you here to celebrate the wedding of my daughter to the prince of Decresh,"Father spoke once everyone was seated.He raised his golden wine cup"let the ceremony begin and enjoy yourselves.People clapped when dancers and musicians walked into to entertain the guests.People seem to be having fun but I of course didn't see since I was supposed to lower my gaze because"that's what a lady should do".Well then I hate being a lady."Don't you like the music,"he asked breaking the awkward never ending silence between us.I peeked through my long lashes,but I once I looked at him it was impossible to take my eyes of him.He was captivating

"I do,your highness",I replied.

"what do you have in store for the tea ceremony".

Oh no! the tea ceremony!.That was the traditional part of the wedding where the bride has to show her talent to entertain the guests and impress her groom.Hell with impressing,I didn't want to impress anyone especially this man."its a surprise,"I said sending him a staged smile.

Soon it was time for the tea ceremony.I was seated in a chair in the middle of the room with everyone's attention directed at me.The guest would sit and enjoy the tea whiles I entertain them.I took my flute before putting it on my lips lightly and started playing.Soon my nervousness disappeared.I love playing flute and the sound of it.Closing my eyes,I let the sound take me far away,a peaceful place.Now and then I would hear people praising me and they applauded me when I was done.

Once I opened my eyes,he was staring directly at me. I didn't see him clapping but there was a smile on his face.Now it was gift exchange time,we exchanged gift and now it was time for me to go to my new home.The knot that returned to my stomach was very intense that I felt like throwing up.My mother came up to me whiles my father spoke with my husband.

Husband?The word sounded strange in my ear.She took my hand in hers"everything will be fine,just do what I told you,"she said.Yes,I remember clearly out mother and daughter talk,to be a good wife ,to listen to your husband and not make him angry."Yes I will",I said enveloping her in a tight hug.As a princess I wasn't supposed to hug people but I didn't care now because this might be the last time I saw her.

The carriage was waiting outside.
