Episode 5: First Time

Today is my first day in another school. I am not ready to go nor meet a new people. People are all the same. Whether in my previous or anywhere, they are the same. In front of people they played victim. They will stabbed you in the back.

"Can I just not go?" I sighed and looked at the ceiling. I'm not ready yet I can't escape from the reality.

Knock Knock!

"Come in." I said as I get up from the bed. Getting my bag to go. I looked at the clock on the wall and it's already 7 o'clock.

"Let's go." Zeian said as he open the door. "I'll wait for you in front of the house." He coldly continued.

"No, you can go first." I said and he nod closing the door behind. I let out a small sigh and walk out of my room.

As I walked to the school, I looked around and see lots of students were walking to school together with their friends. They talk, play, joke, and happy together. Their appearance towards themselves are so realistic yet I find it hard to believe.

As I almost reached the entrance of the school, I noticed students were watching and talking about me.

"Is she a new student?"

"I have never see her so it might be."

"She's so small."

"Yes, she is."

"She's small but beautiful. Her hair, her skin, and her face are all perfect."

"Pervert!"

I kept my eyes straight as I enter the school. As I walk trying to find the principal office, a man suddenly ran toward my side. I fall on the ground along with him. I quickly get up.

I let out a groan and look at him.

"Watch where you are going." I said.

"I'm sorry." He said and I walked away without saying anything.

"Wow! Did you see it? Her eyes. So cold."

"Yes, she's pretty but cold. I feel the chill ran down my body."

"These punks need to learn how to murmur. Are they intentionally letting me hear or are they just bad at murmuring." I quietly talk to myself as I roll my eyes.

"Found it." I said as I arrived in front of the principal office. I knocked on the door and heard a person voice. I enter as he told me to go in.

"Here's your schedule. You can go with Mr. Hanson. He's your home room teacher." He said pointing at one of the teacher.

"It almost time. Follow me." Mr. Hanson said and I follow behind. We entered one of the class room. The class were so nosy earlier before I enter the class but now they were all quiet. Their eyes look at me and I feel uneasy. Or you can say 'awkward'

"Class, we have a new student. Introduce yourself." Mr. Hanson clear his throat and looked at me. His eyes telling me 'it's okay.'

"I'm Siena Vin." I said looked around the class. They all give me what-is-with-the -introduction look.

"Just that?" One male student suddenly broke the silence.

"Yeah! We want to hear about you." A female student agree with him.

"Me too. Tell us." Another female student said.  They all start to say something they want and I couldn't hear what they said. I close my eyes, let out a sigh and open back my eyes.

"I got suspended too many time at my previous school because of fighting." I said and all of them go quiet as they look at me.

"All right, go sit at the empty seat by the window." Mr. Hanson said. I walk towards my seat and my eyes caught one person. He looks at me and turn his head avoiding my eyes. He's sitting next to my desk. I avert my eyes and take a seat. Before I knew it the class is over and it's not recess. Some rush to bathroom or some stay in class.  I put my head on the desk facing my desk neighbor and our eyes locked.

"I thought he wasn't here." I quietly said and he raised his eyebrows. I quickly turn my head away. Placing my head on the desk once again facing the window.

"Hey, how did you do it?" A girl suddenly coming to my desk and asks. I raised my head and look at her with a confused look. Her hair is above her shoulders and her face is a little bit chubby but cute.  Another two girls jump to join in.

"Yeah! Your hair is so silky and your skin look so soft. How did you do it? What products did you use for the skin or hair?" Another girl agree and asks. 'Ah that's what they meant.' I thought.

"I didn't use anything for those." I replied.

"What? Really? But it looks like you did. How amazing." The other girl said.

"Hey, Stace. We haven't introduced ourselves to her yet." The chubby one said.

"Oh yeah, that's right. My name is——-." Before she could say anything I cut her off. I said, "You don't need to waste your time for introducing or talk to me."

The girls go silence and looking back and forth each other and me. I put down my head on my desk. I didn't look at them but I'm sure they are dumbfounded.

Having friends is a nice thing. I wanted to make friends. I wanted to trust them but when I did, they stab me in the back and laugh at me for being an idiot.

Flashback

"You think they would like to be real friends with you? They won't. They are just pretending because I told them to. I tried to be friends with you is because you are foolish enough to give us money. Now that you don't have money, we don't need you."

Flashback End

"I expect too much from them." I quietly said as I closed my eyes.

After school:

Everyone hurriedly left for home and I slowly pack my books ready to move.

"You can go home first. I need to walk my girlfriend home. If you arrive home early than me, tell my mom that I'm with Jeffrey." He suddenly come rushing to me and said. I nod and he dash back to who knows where.

Nina P.O.V

My feet taping on the floor as I waited for him.

"Let's go." Zeian, rushing to my side and said. He's out of breathe. I looked at him closely and can see he's sweaty.

"Why are you so sweaty? Not to mention you're also out of breath." I asked him and he awkwardly coughs.

"I was running to you, of course." He said with an awkward smile.

"But the bathroom is right behind me." I said.

"Ah... well.—-." He's nervous. His face say otherwise.

"It's fine. Let's go." I cut him off and start walking. It's looks like he's hiding something from me. I brush off the thought and look at him with a full smile on my face. He looked back and smile.

"I'm happy walking home with you like this." I said jumping up and down like a child.

"Why? It's nothing special."He said.

I nod and say, "It's because it's been a week since we date but this is the first time you walk me home."

"Ahh... is that so?" He said. He is looking straight and didn't realize I watch him. He's worried. Worried about something. Today is the first time we talk a lot than we did before.

I let out a fake cough to get his attention. He look at me and asks, "Are you okay?" I nod as a reply. He turn his head once again and again lost in thoughts. I want to ask what's in his mind but before I know it, we are close to my house.

"I'll go on my own from here. You can go now." I said.

"We are here already?" He asks.

"My house is right there." I point at my house and he nods. "Okay, see you tomorrow." He said as he waves and leaves.
