Chapter 2 : Friend

"NO WAY YOU'RE TAKING IT HERE?!" Hilise shouted as she looked at his recent post.

"@Hilise is a GRANDMA"

She couldn't believe it and it was getting on her nerves so she put an angry react to the post and typed.

Hilise: At least I'm not an immature brat.

She smiled as she felt that he would be also annoyed with this. For some reason, she felt happy talking to him. he was funny indeed, and someone who's interesting to talk to.

She opened the lights and started to write on her diary. Suddenly... a voice came up.

"Hilise!!! Are you going to eat with us?!" Her mother shouted. Hilise wore her slippers and left the room. she looked at her mom and smiled as she nodded. "Woahhh!!! That looks delicious!" She shouted in awe as she looked at the feast-like dinner.

But she didn't expect that...

"A new notification from messenger"

Kio: I want to be friends with you.

Kio: Unsent a message

There was a chat that she missed. A chat that she regretted that she didn't see it.

AT SCHOOL....

"Hey Calix!!!" Hilise shouted as she ran up to her.

Her eyes were glowing and she seems to be really excited.

"Know what?! Know what?! I talked to a guy and he's really funny and interesting!" She shouted in excitement.

Calix scoffed and smiled. "I knew you'd end up having a crush too." She said and smiled proudly.

Hilise stopped as she heard that. when she realized, her face was red and she hit Calix's arm.

"Hey! That hurts!" She shouted.

"I... I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM!!!" Hilise insisted as she buried her face with her palm.

Those words... can't seem to get out of her head.

"Hey hilise!"

hilise came back to her senses as she heard the shout. She looked at everyone and her classmates were shaking their heads in worry.

"What were you doing ignoring me?!" The teacher shouted as she slammed the book on the table. She picked up a ruler and pointed it at me.

Ah, I'm doomed.

"Get out of the classroom! Don't ever come in until class is over!" The teacher shouted. Hilise walked lifelessly outside the classroom while she sighed repeatedly.

"It was his fault...."
