Chapter 4: Unlike me

Today, is the most dangerous and intense thing all students have to do. "Exams". a thing where you risk your life to pass it. if you don't pass, your parents would probably kill you or kick you out.

"I'm so Nervous, Calix!" Hilise said with her hands on her forehead.

"Drop the act. You're the smartest girl in class why would you be nervous? You always get good grades, perfect scores and like reputation, duh" Calix said rolling her eyes and sighs. However she could not refute the fact that Hilise is really very very nervous.

"What happened to you, anyway?" Calix asked and shrugged.

"I really don't know... I just feel like I would be very disturbed in the exams and won't be able to focus." Hilise said as she complained. It was confusing and new.

"Then stop thinking of that!" Calix shouted thinking that she's making such a big deal out of this. 'Uh-huh.' She noticed Hilise slightly blush as she exclaimed.

"I can't get him out of my head, though?!"

Calix smiled teasingly and said.

"Who's Mr. "him"? " Calix asked with a very teasing voice.

Hilise stopped as she realized. "Wait.Why am I thinking of him.... anyway?"

"Ooh! I smell something fishy going on here~" Calix continued to tease.

Hilise pushed Calix's back shoving her away hiding her blushed red face.

"This is just a crush, Hilise" She convinced herself.

"Students, today is an important day for you. This exam is the key for your future. Do your best and I wish you luck." The teacher said with a strict manner.

"Thank you, Mr. Delgado!" The students answered and started to answer their exams paper.

Hilise looked at the exam paper and sighed as she opened her pen and started to write her name.

'Why is these subjects too easy?' Hilise thought as she continued to write and encircle the answers in a flash like a genius she really is. However, she paused as she noticed her answer in one number.

'Wha... why did I write his name?! I must be going crazy!' Hilise said and slapped herself to get herself together. She shook her head and started to write again, erasing his name.

'I wonder how he looks though....' Hilise thought as she seemed out of it.

'I wonder how deep his voice is... how he smells... am I a pervert? Gosh, pull yourself together!'

"Miss Montefalco..."

'Ahh... I really wanna see him...'

"Miss Montefalco!" The teacher shouted bringing her back to her senses.

"Ah, yes Mr. Delgado?" Hilise asked as she forced a smile panicking.

"Go answer your exam papers. Are you having a hard time in these?" The teacher mockingly said as if he waited for this to happen.

"Unfortunately, It was too easy for me, Mr. Delgado" Hilise said as if asking for a fight.

The teacher scoffed and smiled evilly. "Oh then, Ms. Montefalco. Should I make you answer other exams, then?" The teacher said with a threatening voice.

Hilise sat there as if she wasn't moved and scared at all. the other students gasped thinking she wouldn't be able to survive this.

*sigh*

"I'm afraid that if my exam goes up to another level, it would make my classmates dumb unlike me." Hilise said still smiling. She smiled with sarcasm in front of her classmates and they all started to murmur.

"Ms. Montefalco!"

"Teacher, Weren't you the one who said we shouldn't be noisy? You should be wishing us good luck right now. Look, someone seems to be needing you." Hilise said and shrugged it off. The teacher gritted his teeth and walked away. Everyone sighed in relief and smiled at her as she continued to answer her test papers.

'I hope I don't get in trouble...'
