"Lily, my daughter, finally came home. Welcome back, my dear child." said a middle age guy, Travis Duo

The Duo family is one of the respected families in Z city with their quite interesting family identity, and is the 2nd highest economic earner in the city.

"Father, nice to meet you, I didn't expect you to send me home for something like this." said a young woman dressed in a Velvet dress with her European style hat while carrying a suitcase, Erly Duo the youngest, and the only daughter of the Duo family

She just returned from abroad after going there to study for five years.

"Young lady, let me help you lift the suitcase." said a servant carrying the suitcase away

"Oh yeah, by the way, where's brother? Why didn't he come pick me up?" ask Erly to Travis

"I told him to prepare himself to become the heir to the company." said Travis to Erly while laughing

After that, both of them got into the car and headed to a place. In the car, Erly saw the atmosphere in China for the first time after five years abroad, it felt very new, like a new beginning.

At that time their car passed a large fence into a large complex which only had two magnificent and luxurious mansions.

"Surprise, this is a gift from father for you, I hope you like this mansion." said Travis to Erly opening the door of the huge mansion

"Father, you don't need to do this." said Erly looking at Travis in disbelief

"This is a gift from father to you after five years of living abroad." said Travis to Erly with a smile

"But I'll be living alone in this big mansion?" said Erly looking at Travis

"Don't worry, you will be accompanied by the servants." said Travis to Erly pointing around

After that they talked for a while and then Travis came home, at that time Erly smelled the fresh air that she could finally breathe again.

After that she went downstairs to take a bath after coming home from a far away place, near her bathroom she heard a rather loud scream.

She realized that this sound must be from the Mansion next door because not far from here there was another mansion that was between the mansions she was in.

After finishing her shower, she went upstairs, and this time the screams were terrifying, she asked her servant, and the servant herself didn't know either what actually happened in the other mansion.

As night fell, Erly became even more curious about it, so she took out her binoculars to peek into the neighboring mansion through her bedroom window quietly.

"What actually happened? Why did the scream sound like someone was in pain?" muttered Erly to herself while peeking at the mansion

"It's late at night, there are no taxis, fancy clothes, and having servants, and this mansion must be for rich people." muttered Erly peeking at them through her binoculars

At that time a young man looked back and he and Erly accidentally made eye contact, this made Erly panic, and she immediately closed the window and curtains.

"Does he realize I'm peeking at them, my identity won't be safe then?" ask Erly to herself

"Nice to meet you Liliana, I hope if you have free time come to my mansion and have some fun." said Alex to her with a smile and then go back

The night passed, Erly was still thinking about what happened that morning, but because she still couldn't be sure what happened, she seemed to know whose voice it was, the girl who looked neat, or the socialite looking woman.
