1. whisper

It started when I was five, in 2009, when my family moved to an uninhabited island. “Mommy, why did we have to move here?” “ for research my darling! This uninhabited island is full of mysteries and undiscovered animals!” I didn’t get it at the time, but my mother was right this island was full of mysteries, mysteries that no little kid should encounter.

    Nothing happened for the first few months, but then one day my mother and father were out exploring and I heard a sound. “Uh? Who’s there?” “come gril come to me, come and gain a great power.” I heard whispers talking to me. It was scary. “Come to me girl and gain a power, gain a power that will destroy all………” The whisper didn’t finish it’s sentence and it was bothering me. “ destroy all what!? Come on tell me?! Destroy all what!?” “ come to me and you’ll find out.” 

    I really wanted to know. I started to walk towards the voice. “ that's it, come to me, come to me.” The voice scared me, but I think that’s what made me do what it said. I reached a rock, a glowing, purple, rock. “ Touch me, girl, touch me and you’ll find out what I was going to say.” I touched the purple rock. “ Happiness gain a power that will destroy all happiness!” That very moment is where the nightmare started. “Uh, where am I?” “you're now a captive in the prison I once was in.” “Captive?” “Yes, little girl, you are now imprisoned in a cage of nightmares, and now I am free, Thank you gril, and goodbye, forever.” 

    “ Jasmine, We’re back, honey......... Jasmine?! Where are you?!” I heard my mommy yelling my name and asking where I was. “Mommy I’m here! I’m in this rock!” “ Jasmine ?! you're in a rock?!” I wasn’t for sure my mom could hear me but I’m glad she could. “ Yes, mommy!” “ Jasmine! Stop moving, I’ll come and get you!”  “ Mommy! I’m not moving!” “ I told you to stay put! You are moving farther away from me!” I hard my mom getting closer. “Mommy!?” “Jasmin! Where are you?” Now my mom was very close, probably right next to me.

“ Mommy I’m right here!” “ Jasmen!? where are you!?” “I’m right here!I’m right here mommy!” “Jasmen!?” my mommy can’t hear me now, but why? “Jasmen!?” I can hear her, my mommy is crying. Now she is walking away.”How sad, you'll never talk to your mother again.” The whispering voice came back. “Why are you here? you said goodbye forever.”

“I couldn’t resist watching your life fall apart.” The whispering voice was mean, I don’t like him “You're mean! I don’t like you!” “I’m sorry I can’t hear you that well, are you trying to say something.” “ Yes! Yes I am! Why can’t anyone hear me!” Because of your yelling.” The voice sounded closer to me like his face was touching the rock I’m imprisoned in. “Yelling? What does that have to do with it?” “If you whisper you’ll be heard.” “If I whisper?” My voice got really quiet, into a whisper. “Yes, now I can hear you loud and clear.” “That's all I had to do?  I could be with my mommy right now.” “Exactly, that's the despair I came back to hear in your voice, lose all hope and life will be easier, now I’ll go, I’ll probably come back and check on your hopeless voice in a couple years, oh and one more thing, have fun living in other people's nightmares.” “Nightmares?”
