Freedom! Or Not

"Ok, sweaty, I'm coming. Sweaty? sweaty!? where are you!?" The mother walked up to the purple rock that had imprisoned me. "That's the rock she was talking about, sweaty! where are you!?" I bet the little girl is screaming at her mother, should I tell her right now, before her mother leaves.

        I should but I haven't talked to anyone face to face for a long time. I can't do it, I'm so sorry, I'm just like John. The mother looked really worried, she ran away screaming the little girl's name. I walked up to the rock from behind the tree I was hiding behind. " Little girl if you want to talk to the outside world you'll have to whisper." " Whisper? like this?" " Yes, now I can hear you."  " Where am I ? What am I doing here?" " I'm sorry, so, so, sorry, but it's your turn to be in there, why did you even come to a deserted place?" "My parents are rock collectors, they said they thought there would be all types of undiscovered rocks." well they were right about that.

        I started to walk away, I had no idea where I would be going, I don't even know how long it's been since I was trapped in that rock. I just was walking around in the forest. Then I heard footsteps behind me. "Wait! excuse me! I thought this place was deserted, oh...well, have you seen a little girl about yay tall?" She held her hands about 3 in a half feet from the air. What should I tell her? that her kid is trapped in a rock and I'm the one who trapped her, she'll think I'm crazy. Or should I tell her part of the truth?

        "Yes I have, I saw her a few minutes ago in that direction." I pointed towards the purple rock. " Before you go, do you mind telling me what year it is and which direction is the beach?" " Oh? Um...of course, it's the year of 2017, and the beach is that way." She pointed in the same direction I was going in, good. "Thank you." I thanked her and walked away. "Sweaty! Don't worry! mommy's coming!" I heard her yell as she bolted in the direction I pointed.

        I've been walking for about ten minutes when I finally reached the beach. I can't believe I was stuck in that rock for 8 years. "I knew you wouldn't disappoint me." I heard a voice at my back, John. I turned around. "What do you want?! I just ruined a little kids life!" "You can't call her little your just as little." "No, I'm not, I'm 13 years old." "8 years you've been stuck in that rock, he he, even longer than me, and I'm the one that rock was made for! I find that hilarious!"

        "you find ruining my life that hilarious? your so horrible!" "Well of course I am, why do you think I was placed in that rock in the first place, I kill people just for fun." "Uh." I felt a shiver go down my spine. "Why? why would anyone do such a thing?" "I don't know, probably because they like seeing people in fear and agony." That's, that's so wrong!" " and what you just did isn't?"

        "No, it is! so very, very wrong." "But you still did it." I did, and I feel so bad. "Why, why did you want me out of the rock?" "I wanted you out so you could help me." "and why would I help you.?" "If you want to live, you WILL help me." He said that in a firm, scary voice, he's NOT playing around. "Now what I need you to do is grab the keys from the couple on this island that is to there boat." "What!? I have already taken their child, now you want me to strand them here on a deserted island!" "Yeah, basically." He has no heart, no heart whatsoever. "No, I'm not doing that, I'll find another way." "OK, fine, but when you fail, we're going with my plane, got it." Did he let me? really? umm.

        A day later.

        "I found a way,  we're going to sneak in and hide until we get to their destination." "Really? that's the best you could come up with?" "Yeah, and I think it's brilliant." "Brilliant, huh? that's a lot over exaggerated."
