Shocked beyond words

Moments later, a gush of wind blew into the classroom, I almost forgot about the troublesome four. My biggest and worst school bullies in the whole school. I was the easiest target for the school bullies especially in the winter like now but the troublesome four were unique in bullying. They bullied me physically, mentally and socially- oh sorry I didn't have a social life.

"Our repunzel is back. Missed us, didn't you, little kitty?" The gang leader, Leo said as he got to my seat. The rest gave me a knowing smile and playful winks.

Did they miss their easy Target?

"You didn't come to school for two years but we kept your space empty for you. Where have you being, vamp? School has been boring without you." Hayden said as he sat beside me, I felt his hand on my head gently caressing it like a kitten. That fake sympathy that I hated the most. I could just sigh and look out the window.

"Vamp, where did you go for two years?" Leo asked as he pulled me by the chin to look him in the eyes. His huge palm pulled down my black mask down my face in such a way they could only see my face. They were the first to see my face apart from that bastard and my family who abandoned me for money. They were the next and they were also assholes.

"Answer me. Where did you go to?" Hayden the most toxic and angry one of them silently yelled at me sending chills down my spine.

"I was sick.....I needed time to recover." I replied with my usual silent and soft voice shaken with fear. Tears subconsciously streamed down my eyes as I replied. The fact that that bastard hit me to the point I was in a coma for a few months made me broken inside. I never felt happy or loved in my whole life. What was the use of living anyways?

Leo grabbed my hand after he pulled up my mask out of the class. The others followed me with my bag and my other stuffs, my eyes were clouded with held back tears as my little and frail body trembled vigorously. I wiped my eyes to myself in the Janitor's closet, it was big enough to contain all five of us.

" Take off your hoodie. I want to see your face." Leo said as he tugged on my hoodie. I just took in a deep and long breath as I pulled down my zipper and the hoodie came off unceremoniously. My long thick black waist length hair fell down my back and some over my face. My legs wobbled as I cried and wept in silence.

"Why me? Why can't it be someone else" I wept in mind as the tears kept on falling down without any intention to stop. I felt a pair of strong arms pulling me into a tight bear hug.

"Stupid vamp" I heard Hayden's deep but comfortable voice whispering to me. Another hand was patting my back, another one on my head and the another caressing my hair down to its length.

"Why are you being so nice to me?" I said out of impulse. I heard a stifled laughter and there was an ocean of laughter afterwards. I raised my head from Hayden's strong chest to meet them all looking down at me.

"How can we let our little vamp be sad when she just came back to us? Just count it as a welcome gift." Ace said with his usual playfulness and cute smile

Yeah right, welcome gift!

I never expected good thing from this four . Not on earth or even in heaven after death.

"You can still hug me and cry if you still want. Our little adventure starts tomorrow, enjoy today." Hayden's hot breath blew on my neck as he spoke from behind me offering a hug. I hugged him and my tears started falling again. I was broken for years, now that I was given an opportunity to vent it all out I wasn't going to hold back.

"Why...Why does it have to be me? I hate my life, it sucks being me. I wish I will die and forget all this shit. Don't I deserve to be happy?" I screamed in pain. These were the questions locked down in my heart for years now without anyone to answer them. The darkness I have been living in for years without redemption, I poured it all out on Hayden's strong chest.

"Ssh, don't cry." Alex the usual quiet one whispered into my ear gently. Now that he spoke this was the very first time he has ever spoke to me. He just ignored me and stayed away from me but now he was touching my hair and whispering to me on his own Accord is weird even for me.

After a few more moments of crying on Hayden's chest, I stopped. All the pain was let out finally and I felt lighter. I rose from his chest to meet them all staring at me with unreadable faces.

"Are you hungry, little vamp?" Ace asked with a cute bright smile. I nodded to him silently and he pulled me towards his body. We both sat on the floor along with the others forming a circle around me with me in the middle.

"What do you want to eat? Don't be shy, vamp. It's my treat." Leo spoke with a smile. Unlikely for a guy like him. This was getting weird by the minute.

I told them what I wanted to eat and Leo went to get it for me leaving the other three sitting around me. I looked at each of them on after the other carefully to be sure no good spirit possessed them. I was sure their medicine might have been mixed up.

I felt a head cross over my waist pulling me closer to his body, it was Alex. He moved towards his chest making my back rest on him. Before I could even say a word, he spoke

"Just sit still, try to calm down. Feel the music." With those word been said he placed headphones on my ears, he was a music freak always losing himself to the keys, lyrics ad rhythm that the song was emitting. He could feel it all

He picked a song and I listened to it, I didn't know when I lost my self to the music forgetting everything
