Princess treatment

Alex was usually silent and observing from the side lines. He was also there when I was sad even if he wouldn't say a word but his silence was comfortable and reassuring, he might not say much but he always knew what was going on with me and the ways to keep me busy to keep me from thinking about the problem I was facing.

"Alex, can I ask you a question?" the words just came out of my mouth like a reflex. I peeled off the headphones from my ears and faced him. To my surprise, he flashed his cute two dimple smile at me with a nod. He was also crazy today.

"Okay, why are always silent and nonchalant about everything?" I asked him and he just smiled. He patted my head gently and held my hands in his.

"I'm not nonchalant but I am a monster. Anything that comes out of this mouth of mine is a curse, people hate me so I just lock it up. Do you understand now?"

I nodded in understanding, I didn't really understand all what he was saying but he must have gone through hell ad back to lock himself up like that. His silence is his safe havens. I knew how that felt but for me, my silence will just kill me and get me nothing than pain.

"You are really cute." he spouted out of the blue catching me off guard. Where was all this coming from?

As we were chatting away, the guys came back with bags filled with food. My eyes sparkled with glitters and stars as I saw the amount of food in front of me from junk food to fast food and many more type of foods that I didn't even know the name. I just remembered that I didn't even have breakfast that monster was in a rush and forgot to feed me. He didn't even give a hoot about me, he just cared about himself and no one else.

The thought of him made my tummy turn and churn in away that I didn't know was possible.

"Eat up, little vamp. We bought this all for you, eat till you jump." Leo chimed as he brought everything he bought out of the bag and placed it right in front of me. I could see stars and beauty in the food. My love for food skyrocket and I was chewing down the food without the care of the world. The food was sweet and delicious, It was only matter of seconds till I forgot about them and started eating out my sorrows.

"Slow down, vamp. You might die before you get to taste all the food, you might choke." Ace laughed.

I just laughed sarcastically and continued eating. They just watched me eat, I just ate without a care.

By the time we left the closet, it was already recess, time flies by faster than I thought. They made sure I was fed, happy and smiling, for the first time in my life, I was happy and satisfied even my strength was back and my smile was too.

"Little vamp, we are giving you a bonus. We will be feeding you often, we can't let you fall sick." Hayden said as he helped me carry my bag back to the class. The other three nodded in agreement to his words, these three were a handful.

"Thank you, guys. " I said with appreciation and sere gratitude. For once in my life, I felt like someone did care about me even if it was just for a day. I planned on savouring this moment to its fullest with those four

We walked back to class, all eyes settled on us as soon as we opened the door and stepped in. Thankfully, I was putting on my hoodie and mask so no one could see the smile on my face, and Alex's headphones was still on me as well. I really love his playlist. I could feel those envious and hateful glares that was flashing at me as I walked to my seat with Ace holding my right hand and Alex on the left with his arm around my shoulder in a protective manner.

"Sit." Hayden said as he pulled out my seat for me,I sat and as usual Hayden sat next to me with Leo at the front and the other two, Alex and Ace at the back. They were a pair of plain crazy. I could only wish the time and day would stand still for me and let me savour this feeling, this moment till my fill but of course that was impossible.

That was just the cruel damn fact about the world. It does give a hoot about anyone
