Ashes and Classrooms

The Church of Night shook violently.

Cracks crawled across the stone floor as chaos reached its peak. Reverend Faustus Blackwood slammed his staff into the ground.

“ALL WITCHES—VANISH!”

In unison, cloaked witches whispered a single word.

⚡ Transire.

One by one, they dissolved into smoke and light, teleporting away from the church.

Only Faustus remained.

And his daughters.

Prudence, Agatha, and Dorcas stepped forward, eyes glowing with power, forming a triangle around their father.

The werewolves snarled, tightening their formation.

The witch hunters raised their weapons.

Faustus smiled calmly.

“Children… handle our guests.”

The Daughters of Blackwood

Prudence’s eyes flashed silver.

“Everyone in this room—stand still.”

Her telepathic wave froze several hunters mid-step.

Agatha lifted her hands.

“Sleep.”

Nightmares flooded the minds of two werewolves, forcing them back howling.

Dorcas whispered a single word, and dark smoke spread across the floor, corroding weapons and forcing the hunters to retreat.

Alpha Kael Ironfang growled, resisting the spell.

“This is not over, Blackwood.”

Faustus replied coldly,

“Oh, it has only begun.”

Shirin’s Escape

Amid the chaos, Ambrose grabbed Shirin’s hand.

“NOW.”

A sigil flared beneath them.

They vanished.

Later…

Morning sunlight spilled through a bedroom window.

Shirin gasped awake.

She was back home.

The cat 🐆 sat on her chest, watching her carefully.

Ambrose stood nearby, exhausted.

“You’re safe,” he said.

“For now.”

Shirin sat up.

“I’m not choosing the witch world. Not yet.”

Ambrose nodded.

“Then live as human. But know this—every faction will be searching.”

Shirin swallowed.

“Let them.”

Human World – Same Day

The school bell rang.

Lockers slammed.

Laughter echoed.

Shirin walked through the hallway of her human school, dressed normally, blending in like nothing had happened.

Ruth and Sarsi ran up to her.

“Girl, you disappeared yesterday!” Ruth said.

Shirin forced a smile.

“Family emergency.”

Then she saw Rodrick.

He stood by his locker, quiet, distant, eyes filled with questions.

Their eyes met.

Neither spoke.

From a rooftop across the street, unseen—

A man lowered binoculars.

AGENT MALACHAI VEX,

Scout of the Order of Ash.

“She’s hiding in plain sight,” he murmured.

“Inform the council. The Omega walks among humans.”

Far away, deep within the witch realm, Faustus placed his hand over an ancient map.

“Run, little Spellman,” he whispered.

“School will not protect you forever.”

The Queen in Disguise

The human world moved on—unaware.

Morning classes began as usual. Teachers lectured. Students laughed. Life pretended nothing supernatural had ever touched it.

But in the shadows of the city, Hell had made its move.

Somewhere Beyond Earth

A throne of black flame stood unmoving.

The Dark Lord watched through unseen eyes.

“She refuses the call,” he said calmly.

A woman stepped forward—elegant, terrifying, crowned in silent fire.

LILURAETH,

Herald Wife of the Dark Lord

Queen of Hell

Mother of Deception

“Then allow me to guide her,” she replied softly.

“She will never know who I am.”

The Dark Lord nodded once.

“Go.”

That Same Morning – The School

The old Vice Chancellor, Mr. Harold Kane, never arrived at work that day.

No alarms.

No witnesses.

No struggle remembered.

Only silence.

In a sealed office, Liluraeth whispered an ancient witch technique—older than covens, older than Hell itself.

⚡ Eternal Changeling ⚡

Her form rewrote reality.

Bone, voice, memory, presence—perfectly replaced.

By sunrise, Vice Chancellor Kane was alive again.

Or so the world believed.

Later – Assembly Hall

Students gathered.

Shirin sat between Ruth and Sarsi, distracted but calm.

Rodrick stood across the hall, stealing glances at her.

The microphone crackled.

The Vice Chancellor stepped forward.

“Good morning, students.”

Shirin froze.

Something felt wrong.

Not dark.

Not hostile.

Just… ancient.

Liluraeth’s eyes—now human—briefly passed over Shirin.

And smiled.

Inside Shirin’s chest, the cracked seal throbbed once.

Liluraeth spoke smoothly,

“As part of new reforms, I’ll be personally observing certain students for… exceptional potential.”

Her gaze returned to Shirin.

“For guidance.”

Shirin swallowed, uneasy.

Ruth leaned in.

“Why is he staring at you like that?”

“I don’t know,” Shirin whispered.

“But I don’t like it.”

Elsewhere – Witch Realm

Faustus Blackwood felt it.

A presence.

He slammed his hand against a stone altar.

“She’s here,” he muttered.

“The Queen walks the earth.”

Prudence stiffened.

“Then Shirin is no longer ours.”

Faustus smiled thinly.

“Not yet.”

Back at School

The bell rang.

Students filed out.

As Shirin passed the Vice Chancellor, Liluraeth spoke quietly—only for her.

“You are more than you fear,” she said gently.

“And far more than they told you.”

Shirin stopped, heart racing.

“How do you know that?”

Liluraeth only smiled.

“Because… I see potential.”

She walked away.

Shirin stood frozen.

Her cat 🐆—hidden in the spirit realm—hissed for the first time.

Far below the school, deep under the earth, something answered.
