(Catherine is 19 and David is 22)

Catherine woke up by the sound of her phone. She stretched and yawned before answering it.

Her PA spoke: "hello Boss. Someone attacked our 3rd Base."

"I'll handle it. Once I'm done I'll come to the office." And I hung up.

Joe Richards is my PA and exactly one year younger than me. I treat him like a brother since he is the closest to me. Right now I'm the president of the company because my grandfather thought I should get some experience before I become the CEO.

My parents died when I was 10. Since then I am trying to find their killer and right now I am Queen of the underworld. There is a King also but right now he is unknown to me.

My 19th birthday is next week which means I will inherit my parents company as the only heir. I was adopted by my mother's cousin, Darren Sanchez and his wife, Ashley Sanchez. They do show lots of love to me but they only do that So I don't leave them after inheriting my company. Grandfather has been handling the company since then.

I wear a formal business attire with loose curls and simple makeup.

I am planning on surprising my boyfriend Cavin Lopez. He proposed to me first, but I didn't really have interest in him which is why I am a little distant from him. I thought to try it out since I don't want to stay single all my life. But my feelings are still mutual towards him.

I quickly eat the breakfast made by butler Li. I take out my new yellow jaguar and head to the office.

Before going I put air pods into my ears while calling my PA.

"Joe, state my schedule for today."

"You have a meeting with .... at 11:30 am, meeting with the Zhangs at 4:00 pm. And at last, a surprise dinner with Cavin at the Western Family Restaurant."

"Thanks!" As hung up the call, my Car bumped into another car.

I wonder who's driving this car and why did he immediately put the brakes on the car.

I got outside to see a guy from that car helping a kid.

I guess that man saw a kid in trouble and immediately pulled the brakes to help that kid. So sweet!

Wait now I need to pay the cost of bumping my car into his.

After he helped the kid and came back, Catherine immediately went to that guy.

"I'm sorry mister, you pulled the brakes hard and I didn't pay attention."

Oh my god what did I say. I never apologize and sound this weak. I should be confident and strong in front of him.it wasn't partly my fault anyways.

"Fine if you want to apologize, pay the cost of the scratch on my car and have dinner with me."

I guess it's reasonable. "How much is the cost?"

"10 million." He said while smirking.

I know this is not the cost of the scratch but the car because I have the same exact car at home. Does he think I can't pay? I need to let him know I am Catherine and I can never lose.

"Ok, Can you give me your number? I can drop off the cheque at your work or home." David was a bit surprised.

This girl is interesting.

"Ok here's my number. Don't forget to treat me to dinner."

"I won't."

Catherine was actually playing a trick as well. There was no way she is going to waste all that money for a scratch. Also her grandfather will be angry. She was going to surprise him with the cheque.
