So I was right, the gift has to do everything with ML. When Sabrina said: “He’s just like me”, to be honest my breath hitched for a second there.
And the next moment, when granny reminded her the old man is dying nearby, I laughed out loud, because that’s exactly what I’ve been thinking.
As a writer, I’m always anoxious about the pace, especialy, if several things happen simulat… in my story. I would constantly go back and check the text like a maniac, to see, if the things are happening too slow or too fast, and how do they correlate with one another. and this habit seeps into my reading as well.
So I was constantly thinking at the back of my head: «What about that grandpa? Is he holding up?»
And then you actually went and made the characters to notice the same thing in a such hilarious way, I just can’t! Loved this moment!
